First of all, this is my second Brinno timelapse camera. I also have had the TLC200 Pro for several years, which is a very good camera with very good battery life and it is easy to use, but it's only 720 HD.The battery life of the TLC2000 is incredibly short compared to their other cameras and much less than they claim. My TLC200 Pro will last well over two weeks at an interval of 3 seconds. My TLC2000 will last only about 1-1/2 days with an interval of 5 seconds. So, if you are using your camera outdoors I suggest you get their ATH2000 housing. It has 16 AA batteries in it and my TLC2000 will go a week or more at 3 second intervals. I use rechargeable NiMH batteries.The other problem is the firmware. When I first got it, it was incredibly buggy. They have since released an update (v61) but there are still numerous problems. First---unlike the TLC200 Pro---when you change the batteries in the TLC2000, you lose all your settings. The camera goes back to factory defaults.Second, and worse still, the camera cannot make videos that are over about 2-3 hours in real-time duration at 5 sec frame intervals. So, for instance, if you set the timer to take timelapse from 7am to 7pm, instead of getting one video file per day (like with the TLC200 Pro), the camera creates 5 or 6 separate videos. And the last video for that day doesn't end at 7pm...it carries over to the next day. So you have to use video editing software to make your daily video...combining and trimming the videos. It's a real pain in the...If they could get the firmware bugs fixed and improve the battery life, this would be a real fine camera. But for now...3 stars.UPDATE: The latest firmware update (FW79) does NOT fix any of the issues I pointed out in my original review.

This camera is absolute trash... I bought two of these. One arrived dead and had to send it back. I then had these set up on a nightly schedule to cover a store revamp. The footage created has so much corruption to it I can't use any of it. Besides this the quality at 1080 is despicable taken from a well lit area.The scheduling setup is obviously not fit for the purpose that these cameras were created for as both cameras seemed to have been unable to stitch together a decent video. There is so much corruption and intermittent artefacts which make these cameras utterly useless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. MANUFACTURER SUPPORT IS ALSO USELESS!

After placing in case on in situ post , after three weeks it went into static white. Lost three weeks of on site work. Had to buy a new one to continue taping progress. Still arguing the warranty. Buyer beware.

I wanted a simple camera that I could have clients use on a job site and be push-button simple. It worked great and provided great images. It was easy to set up and simple with no proprietary batteries just simple AAs. I'd recommend it for its practicality and value.

Easy to setup and use, good quality

The controls don't always work. That means that once you set it and walk away you might or might not get what you expect. The "continuous" mode is not very effective as once the video file gets to about 500meg it makes that a file, regardless of time of day.The .avi files are not great. They don't play well on standard Windows 10 movie apps. They stop and freeze, but it seems the file is all there.If the instructions were more than a quick-start guide it would be nice. Maybe the details on the continuous mode, what .avi movie player is best & what care you should take setting up and recording to insure more consistent results would make the product more usable.

It got broken after 3 weeks of recording. Time lapse video was lost. You cant trust this product. Totally disaster !!!!!!

Amazing product

Como dice el título, la calidad es bastante buena, en cuanto a eso no hay queja. El problema viene con la duración de las baterías, ya que es muy inferior a lo que debiera. El calculador de Brinno marca para la TLC2000 con pilas alcalinas y capturas cada 10 segundos, 1.5 días. En mi caso en tres ocasiones no han superado las 14horas. Esto es un problema muy grave si se quiere utilizar durante más tiempo con capturas inferiores en lapso a 10sg ya que puede arruinar el trabajo. Desconozco si el nuevo firmware que han sacado soluciona el problema, en mi caso, el problema lo solucionó (muy eficazmente) Ámazon con su devolución.

Die Kamera liefert eine gutes Bild, ein hervorragendes Bild bei Nacht. Ist leicht zu bedienen Leider macht sie nur alle 3Sek ein Bild, schneller geht nicht!
