ECOZONE Drain Cleaning Sticks, 1 EA

Saw something similiar being advertised. Decided to hunt for it on Amazon. Inserted one in my shower and one in my sink. After two days, it didn’t make a difference. Decided to break one into two and left it in my mug to observe it. Three days later it’s still doing nothing no fizzle whatsoever??

Every single time it rained a foul smell came from our shower. We have old drains as we live in a Victorian house and although everything flows freely the shower and loo pipes all open into the same drain. I've tried every single product on the market it seems and none of them lasted more than 48 hours. THIS stopped the smell completely! I was very, very skeptical but so chuffed to say that the Ecozone sticks worked instantly. So incredibly pleased that we don't have to block the shower with a stack of old towels everytime it rains anymore and that the bathroom door can once again remain open. Thank you!

Had to get these as my daughter has been sick in the bathroom sink three times in three months so it no longer drains properly. Apparently her “her mate Dave looks 35 so he can get served vodka”. Having had the misfortune to meet Dave, although I don’t see the 35ness, he does look like a skin head football hooligan who I wouldn’t want to anger. Let’s hope he gets locked up soon so she can go back to Panda pops in the Park and not plumbing damage...

I think these do something. I did have fewer blockage problems after I had one in the shower drain although noticed that after it had been in use for a week or so it had diminished in size and eventually disappeared. This made me think it had already dissolved, so I put another one in. The shower then stopped draining so well, and after fishing around I discovered that the original stick had slipped down into the pipe and the two together were causing the blockage. Bit of a hassle - it means you don’t know when the stick is actually finished. I ended up doing a caustic soda flush, and put one of these in there for good measure afterwards. All seems to be running okay for now.

I was unsure whether or not to purchase these, based on some pretty scathing reviews. All I can say is people must be rather impatient in this "instant age" because all these need is a little time to work. They are bacteria and enzymes to break down general waste caught in the pipes and therefore they take time. This is not caustic soda!I love the idea of purchasing an environmentally friendly product, and I popped one of these in our kitchen sink hole as it had slowed to a real crawl recently, almost certainly down to food stuffs washing down the little holes in the sink (we don't have a strainer as they can be very annoying).Not really expecting anything for a week or two at least, within two days I noticed the sink was starting to drain faster. Pleased at this I put one in the bathroom sink too. It's not been about a week and a half and the kitchen sink is once again draining normally. These are amazing value lasting a whole year and it's reassuring to know they are environmentally friendly too! Ignore the naysayers, I believe they were expecting results within hours or a day or two, which is unrealistic given the way these work. I wouldn't expect them to unblock a heavily blocked drain immediately or anything like that, but they are certainly a neat little item that provides ongoing care for the drain pipes!
