Great little USB wire connector for Firestick!
I got this USB wire connector mainly for my Firestick and honestly, it's been super handy. Just plugged it in and it worked right away - no fussing with drivers or anything complicated.I've been using it to connect my wireless mouse and keyboard to the Firestick, which makes navigating and typing SO much easier than using that tiny remote. Everything connects quickly and works without any lag or disconnecting issues. For the price, this thing is definitely worth it. Makes my streaming setup way more convenient without having to spend a ton. If you're tired of typing passwords or searching for shows with just the Firestick remote, grab one of these - you won't regret it!

Good Quality Cable
Took a chance on this OTG - with there being no previous reviews to consider - because of the brand, Rii, the maker of my mini wireless keyboard.it arrived on time via Royal Mail in a padded envelope. Upon opening, I was pleased to see that there was a nice, sturdy cardboard box, a smaller version of the one my keyboard had, with a clearly printed diagram for its connection on the side. Within, it had been placed in a small, sealed plastic bag.The cable itself is reassuringly thick, with a nice rubberised feel and of sufficient length. The jacks seem well crimped and the connections, particularly the dongle in the usb jack, very secure. The Fire Stick 4K is responding flawlessly with my keyboard. In summary, maybe not the cheapest OTG available but it's not expensive and I have every confidence it will perform well.

Decently Priced,Works for OTG hard drive,USB Stick etc.
I wanted this to add an extra USB stick for external storage, but the stick I got(See another review)was wayyyyy too slow to copy stuff from my pc,so I tried a powered hard drive I had lying about instead.Works like a dream. Now her indoors can watch all her movies, series etc without my pc being on,and using the Xplore app I can just send anything she wants straight from my pc to the firestick.Gained myself nearly a TB in extra game space.Win-Win :)

Need to connect a Flash drive? No problem.
If you need to connect a Flash drive to your Fire stick, then this is what you need.It is easy to fit, and works fine with a usb stick, if you have movies or music on it, you can play it through your Fire stick, but you need ES file explorer or VLC for fire to play them.

Good product …mostly
Added memory to my firestick very easily at a good price. But wouldn’t pass through my Ethernet signal, so useless to me. Not sure if it should or mine faulty, returned.

Useful OTG cable adding USB socket to Fire TV 4K (3rd Gen) while passing power through.
I bought this to allow me to use USB memory with my Fire TV 4K (3rd gen). Easily fitted in-line between the power supply lead and the Fire TV (micro USBs). The full size USB then allows for extra memory to be added. While the Fire TV itself does not make this available, many installed apps do.I also have an ethernet module connected in-line with the power lead, and this continues to work fine.Sturdy cable. Does what it says. Happy with purchase.

A very misleading product
The product fails for the application I had in mind. But I cannot work out whether this product is being missold or whether I simply do not understand its specification.I inserted this cable between my Amazon FireStick and its wired Ethernet adaptor. That is, I connect the male Micro USB output from the Ethernet adaptor into the female Micro USB end of this cable. And then I connect the male Micro USB end of this cable to the FireStick.I expected this setup to accomplish nothing besides extending the cabling from adaptor to stick by an extra 15 cm. But instead the FireStick can no longer connect to the Ethernet... :(So my FEELING is that the purpose of this cable is to run ONLY POWER thru the female Micro USB end while data can only be handled at the end of the female USB A.If you are wondering what I am up to, I inserted a FLIRC IR adaptor into the USB A end and proved to myself that I can successfully drive the FireStick via my Harmony Ultimate universal remote. (The FLIRC worked better than advertised and, once I sort out this cabling issue, I can thus retire the FireStick bluetooth remote.) The FLIRC mimics a FireStick keyboard.
