Unique and distinctive mid-century bunkbed
I spent a lot of time researching bunk beds, and this one had the fewest negative reviews, plus it's absolutely gorgeous and unique with the midcentury Danish modern white and light brown wood combination. It's a great price for what you're getting and seems pretty solid. The only negatives: the assembly directions were confusing and seemed to not include all the steps - my husband is a master assembler of furniture and even he was stumped at times - this definitely took a few hours to put together. Also, although the bed itself is really sturdy and solid, the slats supporting the mattress in the upper bunk (I look at them during bedtime stories) seem quite thin and not constructed from whole pieces of wood. But my child loves it, and I love looking at it/spending time with her on it, so overall I'm super happy with this purchase.

Stunning addition to our basement teen sleepover room
Saw these bunks on a few sites but landed on ordering from Amazon. They arrived quickly and in a few well labeled boxes. They took 4 hours for my teen son and I to assemble but we needed Dad to help lift the upper bunk into place. Having extra allen wrenches and a power drill helped. We used the drill when attaching the slats to the frame as it’s almost 100 screws between the two beds. There isn’t a ton of headroom between the lower and upper bunk as we used 9 inch mattresses. You do not need a Bunkie board for these as the slats are sturdy. But there is a lot of storage space under the bed if you need that. We keep two deflated air mattresses and all the sheets and blankets under it and there is still a lot of space for backpacks and duffles and shoes when all the kids are over. This thing is sturdy and does not shake like beds with fewer slats.

Well designed, solid build, quality workmanship
Happily surprised by the quality of this bed. The company is family owned (third generation), based in Canada, and many of their products are made in North America (though this is made in Malaysia). Everything lined up perfectly, the hardware is solid, the instructions clear and easy to follow, and the resulting bed is solid and looks great. It's got a little smell, as any finished wood product will, but it isn't terrible, and is actually less fragrant than an unfinished pine bunk bed from IKEA. It doesn't smell toxic and after 24 hours of airing out, the smell is greatly reduced.Overall, love it. Nice design, quality build and finish, and the fact that we can split it to two beds in the future once the novelty of the bunk has worn off extends the life and value considerably.

Great bed, but I wish I could swap where the ladder goes.
I was able to assemble these bunk beds in an afternoon by myself (although, not following the instructions step by step). I love the look of these and they feel very sturdy. I will likely add a bunky board to the top bunk so it feels a bit more rigid when I’m making up the foam mattress we put there. My only criticisms are that the ladder feels like it could use something more than one screw per step. They feel like they twist when I step on them. Secondly, I wish there was an option to swap which side of the bed the ladder goes on. I had these all set up where I wanted them when I realized the ladder was directly under our ceiling fan. I then had to rearrange the whole room to make it able to clear the fan safely.

Warning: Extremely bad chemical smell
I assembled the bed in 3 hours. Instructions were clear and packaging well organized. However, the beds have a **very** strong chemical smell which -after 3 hours- gave me a headache and left me with an odd taste... There is no way I will let my kids sleep in this bed until the smell goes away.5-day update: the smell lasted a solid four days. It’s gone now. I had to keep the windows open pretty much all day to get rid of it.

Modern and cute
I really like this bed except the wood color looks a bit cheap to me. That being said, I do love it for the price and am happy with the ease of putting it together. I also like that the bed can be Sela rated to two twins when our baby girl gets older and needs her own room.

Absolutely Gorgeous! Really High Quality
This bunk bed is sooooo pretty! It is really high quality and I am so glad I purchased. Definitely worth the price tag. The only thing I didn't love was how long it took to put together. It took me about 6 hours, and I did need another person to help me at a few points throughout.

Very Sturdy, Great Price!
I don’t recall ever being this excited for a piece of furniture! I looked everywhere for a sturdy, affordable bunk bed that could eventually be separated into two individual beds — I have three boys 7, 3 and 1. I am so happy I found this bed, it matches the rest of their Ikea furniture and I love the studded ones, Scandinavian vibes. Wish the company made more matching furniture to this bed. Highly recommend!

Nice bunk bed
Love the look and sturdiness. However the bed is high from the floor (our toddler needs a stool step to get on and off bed). We love that these beds can be put as bunk beds or separated as 2 twin beds.
