Good fake nails, great glue!
Again, wife and daughter trialled these. The protective varnish is apparently effective in providing a barrier between the nail and the glue - this is a very good thing as it doesn't damage your nails to use these. The glue is apparently better than superglue! My two would like me to warn you to be careful not to stick your fingers together (they use orange sticks to press the nails down onto the glue). It is easy to dissolve with nail varnish remover though so fear not. These are good quality fake nails and they lasted really well - the glue really is great, not one nail got flicked off. They can be filed down to size, and you should line them up before you glue. My wife was disappointed because she has size 8.5 hands (in gloves), which are very large, and there weren't enough of the larger sized nails to do her hands. If you have small to medium hands you'll be fine.

Love the packaging, the box is a brilliant touch
I have been known to apply the odd set of false nails. I never liked the ones that you stuck on with something akin to double sided sticky tape. I can have pinged one off before ive finished putting the full set on! Im a bit cack handed, i smudge nail varnish or chip it, ping false nails off, smudge make up or break my real nails. I need things that are hard wearing. I always got on ok with stick on false nails, they mostly last two nights out (a weekend). I was pleased to see they have given up on the silly stickers and this set uses nail glue. I like the brightish green colour of these nails and the not overly long oval shape. The nails are finer than the last set i used, these ones are definitely better, they feel more like nails than lumps of plastic.I like the size range, i have weird nails, my little fingers have very thin nails and my thumbs have wide nails so in the dark past i had to either buy two size kits or trim the smallest nail to fit but these nails fit all my nails. The best, most innovative thing about this kit is the case it comes in. When you unbox it you will notice two unused holes, first thought is something missing? but no! these holes are made to hold the tube and bottle while you are using them. This saves you having to balance them or hold them between your toes (just me then?). This is such a nice thought and means the packaging was designed by someone who actually uses the kit!About as easy to use as any false nail kit and beautifully designed packaging. A set of nails at a fair price.

With Great Strength Comes Great Responsibilty
Green would not be the first colour that I would think of when applying false nails; more Grotbags than glamour. However, for a bit of fun or a fashion statement it is sometimes nice to use your nails; they can be an extra accessory. The 'Elegant Touch Nails' are a good set of hardy false nails that come with the complete kit required. You get some protective varnish for your natural nails before applying the glue. This is important to use as Elegant Touch believe you will do so. They have made their glue stronger others because they are relying on you applying the protective coating. If you do not you will probably have little bits of false nails attached for weeks. The upside of strong glue is that these nails do not fall off easily once attached. You could wear these for days as long as you avoid chipping them. The vibrant green does live up to its name and is a vivid colour that will not suit everyone, but as a bit of fun they are great.

Great shape
One of the pervading issues I have had with false nails has been the shape, needing to then trim them, as squared nails just looks wrong to me, possibly because I have small hands. These are shaped in a far more natural way, so once on, look more like real nails with colour. There is an instruction sheet, which includes pro-tips, something seen frequently on social media. The emphasis is on preparation, cuticles, cleaning then buffing the nails to create a rougher surface for the glue. Then choose the nails so they are ready and laid out to use. Put glue on one finger, then the nail, before moving on to the next finger. The glue is very strong. I found it was impossible to stop getting a little on my skin - and you do need to be careful then to let it dry, as you can easily stick your fingers together very firmly. This is remarkably strong glue.

Growing On Me
This is a good set of nails with a protective basecoat included.I like the nails and I love the glue. The nails weren't quite the right colour for me. Painting over them seemed easy because my preferred nail polish was reasonably close, but you do have the problem that the back of the nail still shows the original shade - bright coral in this case. The glue is really good - these nails stayed put for the full 10 days' use - work, housework, the lot.The Nail Saviour comes in a tiny bottle which was rather hard to open as I have a mild disability. To be honest, I was sceptical about this 'Nail Saviour' basecoat at first, but it does give a smooth finish and my nails and fingers felt good, not only straight after using it, but for some three months, so there must be a genuine benefit of some kind. The finish of the basecoat just on its own would provide a very natural-loooking enhancement to the nails if you want to 'go bare' and give your nails a rest for a bit. It;s always difficult for the ordinary person to assess whether a vitamin-enhanced product is really working, but after four months' use of this basecoat under falsies I must say my nails are in better condition than they have been for years.Good value for a nail + basecoat set, but do be sure of the colour.
