Summit Dual Pro Ladder Stand

Item arrived in good shape. Few scratched areas from shipping apes but overall, in good shape with all parts accounted for. Man, this sucker is heavy! Should hold my grandson and I with no problems! Went together very easily working by myself. Followed instructions(eh, who does that?) and didn't tighten many bolts/nuts until all parts were in place. Tightened everything at that point and fit was near perfect. One hole is drilled incorrectly for the seat bumper but if I can put this together, I can surely drill one hole! A little camo paint on dings and it's ready for the woods. I'm impressed with the powder coat, seems to be good job. Included ratchet straps and buckles look to be good hardware. Have two Summit climbing stands and they are outstanding. Figured this would be as good and so far, am not disappointed. Will add to review if not up to par when it hits the woods. I take all my stands down every year after hunting season so I expect this to last for years. Will take more than me to put this up but one person should never attempt to put up any ladder stand anyway. Just hate to show my buddies my secret spots!! It will take three people to get this up and secured safely.

Made in USA! And in the great state of Alabama. It is nice to see American Made by American workers is still available. Very well built and at a great price. Quality of the tree stand is above and beyond other stands made in China. Price for USA made is always gonna be higher but this deal is comparable to any out there. I would like to see the cushions and straps made in USA as well. They are NOT. They are made in China. I still gave it 5 stars. Stand is plenty big for 2 adults. Nice platform and all around roomy. This is what I do with all my tree stands: Get you a piece of rug or carpet and lay it on the platform. It will keep your feet warmer in the winter. You can attach it with some ties and just remove it at the end of the season along with your cushion and store it. Also, I wrap a piece of camo burlap around the stand for extra camo and it will keep you alittle warmer too. Just helpful hints from a fellow hunter.

This a great dual person stand. Most are small and cramped but this has a big platform and the seat is large and comfortable. When I got it the center section was welded off center but lucky for me I only live about half hour from summit. Took it to summit and they replaced it right away free of charged and apilogized for the inconvenience. Great products made 100% in America with great customer service

I love the flip up seat which I didn't know it had until I was putting it together. My young son and I gun hunt and starting next year we will both be bow hunting. This stand is a must for the hunter who does both. I attached it to a 12" tree and followed the directions and it is very sturdy. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is one of the platform holes was about an 1 1/2" off and I had to drill another hole. Also there are rubber bumpers for seat and gun rest and one rubber bumper wouldn't stay in and I wound up loosing it when we leaned the stand up. I suggest wrapping some duck tape or something around them to ensure they stay in. Over all I'm happy and its well worth the money.

This is my first ladder stand but I have been using Summit products for many years. Be sure to read the instructions prior to setting this up in the woods. It definitely requires a minimum of two strong adults because it is extremely top heavy. It is very roomy and pretty comfortable to set in for long periods of time. Very happy with this purchase

The product itself is well designed with 2 exceptions. One, it's shooting rail could be flipable as well as raisable with regard to the mounting to allow it to be down in a bow hunting scenario and lower than a standing archer. Two, overall weight is a little extreme and breakdown for transport could be re-engineered for shorter set-up durations. I definitely will not be moving this stand until after the season ends. I do have total confidence in it's comfort and security for me at 225# plus my highly interested 8 yr old daughter who wanted elevation this year over the ground blind scene.

My son loves this ladder stand. He is 6'4" and has plenty of room to bow hunt out of it. He loves the wider platform, more comfortable and feels more secure when standing. This is our second one. Bought one last year and needed another one. Amazon was the only place we could find one! Thanks Amazon!!

Appears to be a quality product. Arrived with box really banged up though. Is very heavy.
