These were a great deal for the money. Very cute and I love that they have different settings. They are more for "ambiance" than actual lighting though since they aren't very bright.Edit: Been almost a year since I purchased these and they no longer work. They did last all summer though and through much of the winter, which isn't bad for the price. I still consider them a good deal and will likely purchase again.

I ordered 2 pack of these lights on May 7, 2020 - today is October 11, 2020; one string has 4 lights out, the other quit working today. Look, I was thrilled with these lights when I received them back in May, they worked great, beautiful soft/warm light. I have them draped over my low fence/railing on front of the house. The solar panels are secured to the fence with zip ties and are facing the direction of the sun at optimal points. These were not very expensive and certainly was a much better option than our previous lights which were battery operated (we do not have an electric outlet outside). The battery operated lights were a nuisance and a money pit in terms of battery costs, so these were a great option! My only problem is the fact that they barely lasted 6 months(one string completely dead and the other has 4 dead lights). I just ordered 2 more strings today - not because I am so happy with this product or the quality; but rather because I have no other options (not having an electric outlet outside). And these lights are very pretty - when they work.

Very cute! More for decoration, as it didn’t really add any extra light in my porch.Update: one stopped working in 22 days and a few months later the other one went from working all night to working an hour.

I hate to ever leave anytbing other than 5 stars and never have before but we are disappointed!! Welove the lights and they look great however we are very disappointed the length advertised is not true. You only get 13' each strand of actual lights. The lisitng states each strand is 21 and some change long but they were only 19' and the lights were only 13' total. As you can see in our picture, we put them on the front porch but we were only able to do the front and not the sides. It looks ok but I'm disappointed we didn't get what we were suppose to get. We already spent the time to put them up so we kept them instead of sending them back.

These lights line the ceiling of my outdoor gazebo. They offer just the right ambient lighting for the space. These are NOT going to offer full spot light illumination so if that’s what you need, these are not for you. If, however, you would like a soft, warm light that gives a nice glow to your space, then I recommend these. The solar panels are small and inconspicuous and took only one afternoon in the sun to give my lights the power to glow all night. I leave the button “on” and the setting to “steady” for a constant light on affect. Great little lights, especially for the price.

The globes are small but hold their own if you are lighting a small area. They arent designed to light an area per se, more intended as accent lighting. What I do like though is the solar cells hold light for many hours before the bulbs dim and i dont have my solar cells in direct light all day. They work as advertised and are well priced. I also got the same brand rope-typelights. Very small but pack a punch and are discrete to run under a deck rail. If I had to do it again I would buy less of these globe versions and more of the rope lights as they also hold their own and easier to wrap around and in trees and shrubbery. Cant go wrong with either. Love them both!

hung them on my balcony. they work well. they are a bit on the dim side (they don't provide much light). I could see myself using the second string I have for camping...set them up either outside my tent to provide some light for my nighttime excursions outside the tent for....There is no remote control. To set the way the lights function, there are buttons on the bottom of the solar panel power unit.I turned them on, they gather sunlight during the daytime, come on automatically at night. They last about 8 hours or so before they turn off, which is longer than the other solar powered lights I have on my patio/in my garden remain lit.
