This saved my garden this summer. We had many 100 degree days and this provided enough shade to keep things going.

It saved my patio plants in the 95 degree sun..but difficult to cut.

I bought this so I could have shade and still catch the breeze. At first I thought I messed up because it seemed a bit less blocking of sunlight but it was a true blessing when I used it to give me shade during working on my brakes. Kept me cool enough and had that nice breeze too. It did what I asked of it. I would recommend it.

This product is great. It has saved my plants from dying in the Texas heat. I didn't give 5 stars because all my other cloths I've ordered come with straps to install. This one does not comes with straps, bands, etc for install. Other than the missing straps this product is great.

Gave the cloudy day effect on a bright sunny day. Dropped temp in my greenhouse by 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It has been extremely hot this year! Would buy again and recommend.

The killer Texas sun has baked several of my plants. So I moved what lived to a small spot just the size of this cloth and set up drip-hose. So far, so good. Still no tomatoes.

For the price, this Was a great find, it was exactly what i was looking for!(shade for my balcony garden) I rolled mine up as i needed something (the SPOUSE PUT HOOKS ON THE CEILING , SO YOU CAN UNROLL AND PIN UP TO BLOCK THE ENTIRE FRONT SUNLIGHT(I have yet to use it) not only to filter sunlight so the plants dont roast, but also works as a nice wind blocker.I also noticed that the apartment doesn't heat up in the afternoon heat as much!AWESOME BUY! WORTH HAVING!

This shade cloth will be a nice addition to our Pergola. We were looking for an inexpensive solution to provide shade while still allowing see through visibility. This is a very good answer to our problem. I will attach it to a gray pvc conduit pipe to allow easy rolling up when not needed. Our pergola is fitted with Coolaroo shade rollers on the back part to provide full privacy and while they're a great product, the cloth is barely see through. As other reviewers have indicated, a 40% shading sounds about right. The product states that it is UV protected which is important seeing as it's blocking the sun :)Update October 2020. The shade curtain performed flawlessly and shows absolutely no sign of wear. No rips and no fading. Great product.

I bought these for a project that took a bit longer to get to than expected. By the time I went to use them my return period had elapsed. They had some holes and are really not useful but I'm stuck with them. Wasted money.

We purchased 2 of these shades for our patio pergola and within 3 days of installation the netting portion had a rip in it, rendering it useless as it was impossible to repair. I expected it to last longer than few days....

Bought to provide some shade for a chicken run. So far it holds up well in the wind and hail. From my limited knowledge I would say it blocks about 70% of the suns rays, maybe a bit less.
