does not fully cover the bottle
It does work but is 2 pieces of flat material held together with an elastic seam which when frozen gets quite stiff so although it bends around the bottle you do have a gap along the seam so it slips up a bit on slightly different shaped bottles, it is neat and flat when freezing so that's a plus.

Not suitable for beer cans and beer bottles
I was expecting the holder to be suitable for both cans and beer bottles, but it looks like its only suitable for a wine bottle
