Best float in this price range--hands down.
My S.O. are kind of floaty addicts and even own some of the very high end 8-10 person party islands. We've had the good and bad when it comes to floaties. The Swimline Sunsoft goes into the category of floats we LOVE. This mattress blows up quickly (we use an electric pump, but it would certainly be just fine to use a foot pump). There are two plastic floats inside the fabric cover. For best results, blow the small pillow up completely and situate it in the top portion of the cover so it fits nicely. Then, blow the bottom portion up about 3/4 of the way full. This creates that bean bag effect. You don't really get wet when you use this mattress which is something that I appreciate. This float is extremely stable as well, even when only blown up 3/4 of the way. We had a 9 year old standing on it and riding it like a surfboard over some boat wakes. The fabric is rough when it's new and slightly uncomfortable. However, we've found after 4 or 5 uses, it has softened up tremendously and now it's quite comfortable. There is a hand strap on the top of the float so you can tie it up to a large island float, or for pulling it up out of the water. You will need that strap when pulling it out of the water. It's HEAVY due to the water getting inside the fabric cover. Have no fear though, it drains quickly and even quicker if you unzip the side--the water comes rushing right out. I have every intention of buying another one of these before summer is out. Five star for sure!

MOLDY AFTER ONLY ONE MONTH
This float’s only pro is that it’s comfortable once you get it inflated just right. However, it’s a pain to inflate and only after one month had mold along the side (see pics). I didn’t opt for an exchange because I was going to be sent the exact float and couldn’t return b/c they wouldn’t cover return shipping. Also, it fills up with water because it gets in through the cover zipper which probably caused the mold even though I would unzip and empty the float the best that I could after each use. I obviously couldn’t get every drop of water out. Comfort 3 1/2 stars, Design 1/2 star :/

Best Pool Float Purchased!
I have been through a multitude of pool floats. Most do not last and are a waste of money! This is by far the BEST one I have spent money on. It's been used through several years in the pool and it's still going strong. The protective cover is a great idea because the inflatable part is protected and lasts (and it's a thick plastic material, not something cheap). After being stored (usually out in the hot sun during the summer months) the cover is tearing. No big deal. I put a towel over it or flip it over. If you don't want to use the head rest simply lay at the other end. This thing is nice and large too. I hope to purchase another one because they are so awesome.

Big Mistake
It arrived out of box with a puncture to tube. It came with a patch kit, so I repaired it. Never used it water, didn't hold air. Outside is perfect, good quality, well sewn, good material, but the bed inside is cheap and didn't last long enough to drive to a lake and use it. It deflated and it didn't fill the fir. Well enough. It is too large for the float.

Best Lake Bed around!
I call this my lake bed. This precious piece of inflatable mattress was the hit of the summer! I spent hours floating around in the lake. It fits 1 large adult perfectly or 3 small kids. The kids would paddle around and play games when I wasn't monopolizing it. The bonus feature is that it will go faster than any other float because it floats above the water, not sunk inside the water, and it allowed me to cruise up the lake to my parents house and back with only paddling with my hands. The canvas is nice, so it's comfortable and sturdy when near rocks. I would definitely purchase this inflatable bed again!

Very Basic Flotation Device, and Not What They Lead You To Believe In The Description.
First of all, this does NOT have a "bean bag" feel of any sort. It is not one of those flotation devices that uses "bean bag" filler along with air pockets to keep you afloat. It is nothing more than two vinyl chambers (one for body and one for head) encased in a fabric outer lining. Description says "multiple chambers", and leads you to believe you can make adjustments to individual chambers to get that "just right" amount of air to make it customized for your preferences - but that is just not true. Way over priced for what it is.It is comfortable once you get the air level to your satisfaction, but the canvas cloth soaks water, and the inner chamber around the vinyl inserts fills with water. After being in the pool for about an hour or so, this thing is very difficult to get OUT of the pool - the weight of the water that has soaked through to the inner lining is ridiculous. Had to unzip the fabric and drain the water out before I could get it out of the pool!Don't get me wrong - this is a good, but not great float. It is just very plain and basic, and costs way too much. I bought two of them, and did not bother to open the second one. I will be returning the second one for a refund.

They come damaged ..
Unfortunately as much as I love the comfort of this mattress and the fact you stay dry while flaring it does not hold up or even come usable .. ordered twice in the last week and both had to be returned because of a hole in the mattress .. Not easy to get back in the box to return.. I will say Amazon helped me with the refund and shipping charges and gave me a credit for my inconvenience.. so disappointed as I have had five of these mattress through the past few years and but won’t be buying again they simply don’t hold up and fade really bad ..

Float worked great in that it is very sturdy and doesn't sink
Float worked great in that it is very sturdy and doesn't sink. However there is significant mold on the cover which developed before one season of use. In general the float was pulled out of the pool when not in use, so generally dried in the sun. I am disappointed that I can not return the cover - window for return is one month.
