Looks the business but arrived broken and snapped beyond repair
Well the thing arrived with a split down the second section, and I thought it was superficial, however on the first use it snapped like a cheap lousy fibreglass tent pole I had high hope for this fladen rod the reel is smooth and the rod looked really upmarket, with a nice cork handle and built in collars for the reel but it arrived broken and broke beyond repair within minutes. I cannot contact the seller so I am in the process of returning the item. In future do not buy from this brand

Rod excellent, reel Ok but supplied with poor quality line
Excellent rod, already had half a dozen bass on it, reel ok but supplied line was rubbish so changed that and the screws holding the body together started to rust after first use...otherwise would have given 5 stars

Check quality of product before using
Bought two rods together at same time. Both looked very good for price went pike fishing two weeks later. One rod performed very good catching couple or jack pike ranging between 3 to 4lb . Second rod hooked same size fish and top of rod broke off.
