Easy.
I love this, it makes cleaning my cast iron pan so much more simple! It is perfect for messes that are too tough for a regular plastic scraper and far less abrasive than steel wool. It is a must for cast iron.

Good kit for dutch oven.
Just came back from a 2 week camping trip to Wyoming, and Montana. The plastic scrapers are fine. I really liked the piece of chainmail. It really powers through stuff. I just put some water in the pot and put it over the coals. And start working on it while the water warms. Dump it out and repeat. Then give it a light coat of oil and put it away.

Cast Iron +
Excellent for removing those bits of persistent hard cooked food from the surface of the pan. I also found it works spectacularly for scrubbing glass casserole pans, egg residue, and other hard to remove residue from stainless steel, glass and cast iron without scratching or other damage. I'm pretty pleased. I don't know what I'm going to do with all that steel wool now...

Works amazingly well.Hard to tell when the chain link itself is clean, because it's slick under hot water. Can only know if grease is still on it once you try to dry it. It's just the nature of smooth links.

remove cooked on food but not seasoning
I like that the chain mail scrubber cleans as well as steel wool but doe snot remove the seasoning on my cast iron like steel wool. However, the chain mail gets greasy feeling and I have not been able to clean it well. The scrapers are more rigid than others I have used.

This has replaced those nasty sponges for me.
This has replaced those nasty sponges for me. We clean everything with it. I have correlle plates and glass serving dishes. So far it been good on all those. yes it does scratch your stainless steel a bit but its cookware not jewelry so that doesn't bother me. cleans everything great and it is easy to clean so no more nasty bacteria laden dish sponge YAY
