Good rod
Very nice and durable rod! Great design and even better aesthetics, only wish is that the tip was a bit more stiffer, definitely could of went up a size. I have a KAST KING SPEED DEMON ELITE priced at only 100 bucks to complete the combo and I think it compliments the rod great.

Bad Package handling but good branding rod.
A good branding spinning rod! But a garbage care for it?I was Excited to give my little brother this rod as a gift, but when i opened it i could not belive my eyes!!! Off the start you could notice the twisting and bending of the Rings the rod has, The bottom 2 were bent flat out! The 3rd ring is just none existing.. And as for the rest of them they all have their own little bends and twists. I am not happy with the Handling this rods been thru!I Now how to put money down just to revive this nice rod.Purchase This Product Carefully

Great purchase
I love this new penn prevail rod, I added the penn clash 2 reel and it compliments the rod. These two make an excellent combination for saltwater fishing. I’ve caught strippers, speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and sharks on the many various lure that I use with this combo. One of the best that I have.. Thanks, Sean

Liking this rod!
7’ Light Inshore Prevail II - Received item and box packaging was subpar but there was zero damage to rod. First impression was that it’s a good looking rod, lightweight, grippy, reels seats perfectly, all guides are perfectly in line, and action is fast. I will be using it with a Penn Battle II 2500 for smallmouth/shoal bass fishing in rivers and light inshore. Very happy with my purchase and was a very attractive price point @ $38. It will be heavily used soon when Spring arrives. Will update review if my experience with this rod goes downhill.

Not Great
Bought two rods. Popping cork rig. One rod broke casting. Would not recommend.

Great rod just wondering about the tip.
There is nothing I dislike about the rod just noticed the tip has become worn after one months use with 30 lb mono. Should I replace the tip?
