Firm Hold on Phone; Works on thin or thicker handle bars
A single knob provides a tight grip from both sides smoothly. Loosening the knob opens the grip. Appears to be fairly water proof/resistant as the on off button(for the embedded charger) is covered and sealed with a rubber cover. Has a wireless charge plate which leaves the phone lightening port open for a wired audio connection if you don't have bluetooth. I installed this on my Roadking with aftermarket fat handlebars. It fit the fat bars perfectly. Extra adjusters are available for stock and narrow handlebars. View direction is adjustable for the phone, including sideways. Clamp is metal. Some of the attachment parts are plastic. So far after 1 day and an easy install, it just what i was looking for.

Almost exactly what I wanted
So far this works great and install was pretty simple even with no instructions. Mount grips my Samsung S9 with a case very secure and the charger seems to work fine through my case. My only complaints are that the on/off switch fro the charger is too small to use with gloves on and the short arm on the mount gives very limited positions on my Street Glide with stock bars. Position may improve when I go to taller handle bars.I would have loved the wires to be a few inches longer as well for when I go to taller bars. I can add wire to them, I just hate to add a splice.

So far very pleased.
I've only used this for one day of cycling but if it performs over the long haul as it did today then I'll be really happy with this purchase. Installed easily on a 2018 Triumph Speedmaster, seems well built, grips my iPhone 11 Pro in its case securely and charges through the case. Not related to this phone mount, I found that during the midday sun the iPhone was impossible to read even without a screen protector with the brightness all the way turned up.***Update Sept 15th, 2021***One year later I am happy to report that this item has performed flawlessly. Five stars still stands.

Not for the pixel 4
I'm going to preface this review by saying it was simple to mount and I ran the wires under my tank and everything worked out nice mounting it on my 16 FXDLS. However the original case I had on my Pixel 4 (Spigen) was too thick so I had to downgrade to a TPU case. It charged in the old case but was too thick to be secured by the mounds. Now that I have a thinner case it holds the phone secure BUT I can not let the phone sit firm on the bottom or when I close it there is pressure on the volume down button and nothing works. Maybe I'll find a case to fix that issue but as of right now, very hard to use the mount with a Pixel 4.

15 minute install
Very simple installation, the wire to the battery was long enough to reach on my 2012 Sportster 48 with about 6" to spare, running along the same path as the wiring harness. Using a galaxy S9+ with a Otterbox Symmetry case fits securely. The switch on the unit is enclosed in a water tight cover and when turning the unit on/off it does make an audible click, the unit also has a blue light on the upper right side to indicate power on. The housing is plastic but the bar mount is aluminum. No issues on bumpy roads or in the rain I've been through both since install.

Phone mount good, power not so good
iPhone X user here, the phone mount is well made, installed it correctly, it is getting power, when I insert phone into the cradle it will start charging for a few seconds and then stop charging all the while the blue light is still lit. Not sure what is going on with it. Guess I’m stuck with a good phone mount and I will have to revert to plugging it in with a cord again.

Well made mount
I bought one and mounted on my Victory. Absolutely live it. I use my phone for GPS and music while riding and it keeps my phone charged while holding securely. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for the VRod. Note on the VRod, the bars on this particular bike are like 2 or 2 and a half inches, Absolutely nothing clamps to them, so I used the mirror mount attachment. The phone does noticeably vibrate more, but not enough to be concerning, simply enough that going live on Facebook isn't watchable

Great motorcycle phone holder and charger!
The device is great and it still charges well even though I have a metal piece in the phone case for magnetic mounts (mine is as high as possible on my iPhone, next to the camera). My only complaints are that it is a little hard when loading the phone to the case although it is very secure once it is done and the other complaint is the ON/OFF switch is too small. Especially with motorcycle gloves!
