Good product
Nice look. Tested for 16 hours. Even after 16 hrs the liquid in the bottle is so hot…I recommend this product for purchase.

All 3 flasks stopped working within 6 months
My previous review rated this 4 stars, but after six months, the poor durability has reduced it down to 1 star.I bought one of these flasks, but it stopped working in 2 weeks. Borosil sent a replacement, but they took 3 weeks to do so. I needed a flask in the interim, so I bought another one of these flasks. The replacement flask that Borosil sent also stopped working in after 5 months, and then the other flask I bought stopped working 2 weeks later. In other words, 3 out of 3 flasks failed during the warranty period. And no, the flasks were never dropped or damaged in any way, they just stopped working due to poor build quality. I'm glad Borosil doesn't build cars or airplanes.I probably could get replacements again as they are still within warranty, but it's honestly not worth the hassle of going back and forth with their inefficient customer support.Old review:260 ml is the perfect size for two cups of tea, so I decided to test this out, as well as another one of exactly the same volume by Milton, and this flask emerged the clear winner. I tested out both flasks by pre-heating them by filling each one with boiling water for five minutes, and then replacing that with hot tea.I used an infrared thermometer to check the temperature. Here's what I found.Temperature of tea poured into both flasks: 89°C.Temperature on pouring out 120 ml after 1 hour: this flask 85°C, other flask 78°C.Temperature on pouring out the rest after 4 hours: this flask: 73°C, other flask 48°C.Most people prefer their hot tea to be around 63°C, so this flask's temperature retention is acceptable. That said, the powder coat paint finish is not great, and the glossy plastic base and lid is bound to pick up scratches and look unsightly as the paint peels. In contrast, the Milton flask had a far superior and likely more durable paint finish, but it retained heat poorly compared to this flask.Pro tip: Heat leaks out through the lid, so cut out a piece of polyurethane foam and fill it inside the hollow container / pill box inside the lid. Make sure the foam is a slightly snug fit with no gaps, but not tightly compressed (else it won't work). Foam is an excellent insulator, so it will reduce heat loss through the lid marginally. And of course, be sure to pre-heat the flask by keeping it filled with hot water for five minutes prior to your actual beverage.

Good
Received it in perfect condition and colour and size both are perfect. You can easily carry it in your handbag. I hope the paint doesn’t come off any time soon. Thanks to the seller and Amazon.

Stylish and handy but lacks durability
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Borosil Hydra insulated bottle for my husband so he could carry hot/cold beverages to office, hoping for a high-quality and durable product. While the insulation works well as mentioned, I was disappointed to find that the outer coating started coming off after just a short period of use. I expected better durability for the price I paid. However, the shape of the bottle is quite good. It is very stylish and easy to carry in a handbag. If you're looking for an insulated bottle that maintains its appearance, you might want to consider other options.

Beautiful cute and tiny.
Very beautiful bottle. Stays hot for a long time if preheated with boiling water. Very easy to use. It looks very sturdy and durable, like every borosil bottle. It is so easy to clean too. I use it often. It holds two cups of coffee or tea.. very very useful flask. thank you..

Screw top cover comes apart, metal damaged in few days
The flask looked beautiful and I took it outstation the day I received it. Only later next day I noticed that the metal ring at the bottom was damaged. The metal seems to be rusting and damaged in a brand new flask! Maybe I didn't check too carefully as I trusted the Borosil name.Unfortunately, as I have left town and don't have the original box I am unable to return it.So suggest you check the product thoroughly, especially at the bottom.Update on 8 Sept, 5 days after using: the inner white ring has got stuck and detached from the upper part. And is not getting re attached. This makes the product unusable. The product design needs to be re looked at by Borosil.Update on 15 Oct: I somehow ee attached the cap and made it work. But today flask has suddenly started heating up. I clean it just with water and a little detergent powder and a light bottle brush occasionally. Obviously the vacuum seal is compromised.I wish the company would replace this piece and instil confidence in me, a customer of iver 30 years.
