Apple Silicone Case (for iPhone 11 Pro Max) - Midnight Blue

You always know when you buy an Apple product you’re going to get an amazing quality item, well packaged and lovely to use. The Apple 11 Pro Max phone case in this review is no different.Opening the box, it has the trademark pull tab so you don’t have to reach for your keys to break the tape, whilst ending up with a ruined box. Lifting up the front couldn’t feel nicer, with a perfectly snug case sat right inside.As far as the case itself, it fits perfectly around the phone, with no movement or looseness you expect from cheaper cases, yet very simply to remove with just a slide backwards from the bottom. The feel of the case is great, maximising grip in the hand, anti slip for sides, pockets etc. I even had my phone on a 80 degree angle piece of glass and there was zero movement; any more angle and the phone would tip rather than slide due to the weight of the phone itself.Surprisingly, but very Apple, they even think about the comfort of the phone, with a very nice alcantara inside, ensuring if it is dropped; the case itself won’t scratch or mark the phone whilst providing a cushioning.Since it is for my actual phone, I haven’t drop tested it however if you’re interested, a quick Google and you’ll find a multitude of videos and reviews testing this. Overall, it seems to have pretty fair resilience however bear in mind that it isn’t designed for being thrown off of a cranes cab.Overall though, if you can stomach Apples high end costs, several times more than cheaper alternatives out there - you won’t be disappointed. Then, how often do Apple disappoint? Only Samsung fans can answer that one above none.

Great case. A friend recommended this type of cover by Apple, having never tried one before thought I would give it a go. I know they are a bit more expensive than others but I have to say it’s well worth the extra. I have tried quite a few on previous phones and on this one, but this one comes out best. Feels good and doesn’t slide around in my hand, works well with wireless charging as well. Whist initial first look when I took it out of its packaging, thought it would be more Pliable, and was not sure that it would give good protection if I dropped it, especially face down. I am pleasantly surprised at how good the protection is. It’s a snug fit and doesn’t feel bulky like some I have tried yet amazingly protects your phone very well. I have dropped my phone a couple of times, one being wen I went to show someone a confirmation email for something and took it out of my pocket a bit quick and clumsily dropped it onto concrete from waist height landing flat face down. I have a tempered glass screen protector as well but thought initially that’s damaged it for definite and that it was going to be a costly mistake, but found to my relief that it was fine. I will definitely stop spending money buying different covers on future phones, and buy these ones all the time from now on. I will always buy a good screen protector as well for added protection, but it’s Apple covers for me from now on. I would also say that as long as it is a genuine Apple case you don’t have to buy it from them, I saved money buying it through Amazon who give great service, thank you👍

Like all other Apple products sturdy and comfortable

It is very nice to hold and it protects the phone very well. The only negative is that it lasts only for one year.

The good: Original Apple product which is same as in the Apple store.Having purchased non Apple cases for my previous iPhones, I tried a couple for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and non of them seemed right. They didn’t look great, ruining the look of my new iPhone. Also on many of the non Apple ones I tried, the speaker grill cutout was not right. When covered up the sound from speakers is effected.The bottom part of the Apple silicone case is not covered, so it’s slightly exposed there, but it doesn’t effect the sound from the loudspeaker. I tried a few non Apple cases and this one and the Apple case doesn’t effect the sound quality of the phone. Also, in my opinion, it also looks nice and feels better when sliding up from the bottom when unlocking, multitasking etc. It’s easier as there is nothing hindering the thumb or finger when sliding up.The bad:It occasionally picks up bits of dust of tissue from pockets but it can be cleaned easily. Also, if your sliding this in and out of a jeans pocket the edges of the cover will get warn quickly. If that’s how you mainly use your phone, either be careful or look elsewhere unless you don’t mind the worn out lol after a few months. If you don’t mind the exposed part at the bottom then for comfort and easy of use, plus that it doesn’t ruin the sound from the speakers, I’d highly recommend this Apple case or one with similar design from Apple.

I love the feel of the Apple silicone cases. Nothing else feels quite like them. Very soft and grippy and very lightweight. They are a quite expensive though and not the best for protection if you do drop your phone a lot. I’ve not had an issue though and do drop it occasionally. The pink sand colour is subtle and pretty.

I’ve had leather apple cases for a while and decided to change with the new phone. I’m impressed with how sturdy the silicone case is especially how the colour pops and it feels in your hand. It’s definitely worth a try and hopefully this will last a good year as my previous cases have!

this is the second one I've owned and its sad that this happens all the time it would seem.these silicone cases feel wonderful out of the box, like a silky smooth material, feel fantastic. every time ive had one that feeling is lost in a month the backs covered in shiny bits that don't wipe off.the case has a suede material on the inside and the silicone meets it where the phone connects the case and if you pull your case of more than maybe 3 times this line between the silicone rips and the case literally falls apart.

Not sure if it’s original Apple, but it’s excellent and inexpensive. Saved my phone from many falls. Don’t hesitate if you are interested.
