These pins are great for quilting and sewing. As quilting requires a great deal of pressing, these are perfect. Easy to handle, remove, and can be used with an iron. Also, unlike some pins with larger heads, the iron doesn't create a "bump" in the fabric when pressing.I have also purchased the blue and green versions of this pin. All versions are good quality, heat resistant, and easy to grip. The pink version (this one) is longer, best for larger or thicker projects. The blue version is between the pink and green sizes, a good general purpose sewing or quilting pin. The green pins are short and very fine, best for applique or working with small or delicate projects.One flaw, the pink pins are so long they barely fit in the container. As all sizes use the same container the other colors fit fine. BTW, the container is great, sturdy, attractive and a nice size.

I have use issues with my thumbs and these pins are easier to use than regular straight pins.

The pins have a silicone head, which is easy to grasp and hold, and won't melt or heat up if you run over it with an iron. A word of caution, though: they are thin, and will bend easily. So be careful to keep them straight.

They bend easily and are not as strong. However the sewing machine does go over them easily.

I really liked these pins they are very easy to use on thick fabric and to remove. I like the length and the thinness.

If you were a quilter, these pins are a game changer. They’re thin long and they have a rubber head that you can grab easily with your fingers. I love them.

I use these when I'm doing custom quilts on the longarm to hold all three layers and prevent shifting from heavy quilting. I would use the specific longarm pins if you want them to attach to your leaders. These pink pins are sharp and fine. For what I'm doing, they are not bending out of shape. I can't inform you how they'd work for a sitdown machine basting but with the longarm set up, I'm in love with these pins.

These pins are smooth, sharp, long and thin. The top is good for a good grip . I especially like these because of the colourful and size of the top because they are easily seen if I drop any on the floor.
