Wireless Guitar Transmitter Receiver Set 5.8GH Wireless Guitar System 4 Channels for Electric Guitar Bass (Silver/Black)

I recently ordered two different inexpensive wireless systems. My first ever. The Getaria is the second of the two I tried.The first one I tried had better published specs (battery life, latency, more channels). However, upon trying it out, the other one had a low output level, latency was much worse than expected, and the sound quality was not accurate in the low end. I returned that one. As a result, my general expectations were fairly low for this type of device-- of which there seems to be dozens of variations on this "theme".The Getaria GWS-26 arrived the next day. I took it for a "first impression" spin. Right away, even though the published latency value was similar to that other unit, in use, the latency on the Getaria was WAY better, and not a problem.The sound of the Getaria is quite good. The output level is similar to the cable. The tone quality is accurate. The dynamic range is excellent. I need CLEAN dynamic range from soft to maximum/loud playing. The Getaria delivered this for me, and they were wise to mention this in their specs. I should mention that my tests were with bass guitar. So I wasn't testing the upper parts of the sound spectrum.I can't say much about reception. It worked fine in my situation. But I can't say how it compares to other units. The documentation doesn't list any details about the 4 channels, and there doesn't appear to be a function to automatically find a clean channel (i.e., via start up scan).I wish these units like this would have more over-kill for battery life. I'd like to go on stage with 15 actual hours of battery life-- serious wiggle room. This way, as the battery ages, it will continue to deliver enough capacity. If this unit proves to be useful in my gig life, I won't hesitate to replace the battery myself.The build-quality seems "precise" but I wouldn't call it rugged. The plastic housing feels firm to the squeeze. But I'll need to be pretty careful with it.It's a minor detail, but the package includes a nylon mesh drawstring bag. This is useless to me. I know that ultimately, this is all landfill at the end of the day, but the mesh bag seems especially wasteful. I'd rather they make the cardboard box more durable and call it done.SUMMARY: Easy to use. Works well. Sounds good. Responsive. Good design. Probably not durable. Only 4 channels, No function to find clear channel. Nylon mesh bag is dumb.UPDATE: Two guitar-playing band mates picked up these units after trying mine. For one of them, the set has USB-C for charge ports. Both of them have experienced some intermittent noise issues in some situations. They both use Helix floor units, but I don't know if that is related at all.

I play my Roland Aerophone AE-30 Pro through a Bugera V5 Infinium amp. I wanted a wireless system to free myself from cables. At first, I looked into the Boss WL-20L system but the price made me think twice, along with the fact that the batteries aren’t replaceable, so when they no longer charge you’re left with a pair of useless $229 dongles. I began searching on Amazon for comparable systems at a more reasonable price. After looking at the specs and reading reviews on many systems, I decided on the Getaria GWS-26 based not only on price but also on its high specs, long battery life, clean attractive design, ease of use, and stated support for multiple electronic instruments other than just guitar and bass, unlike many other brands. After using the system for a couple of months I am completely satisfied with my choice. I fully charged the system before first use. I read ALL of the instructions, a procedure which I am sure would alleviate some of the problems others say they’ve had. Pairing was as easy as turning on the transmitter and receiver and choosing a channel. The sound is indistinguishable from my premium cable. Battery life is excellent! The 5.8 GHz bank has no interference even with my Wi-Fi router in the same room within a few feet of my amp! I haven’t tested line of sight transmission distance but I can walk into the next room, about 30 feet away, and it still transmits and receives without a problem. But put more than one wall between them and the signal drops out, as you’d expect. All this for less than a third of the price of the Boss system! I am very happy with the Getaria GWS-26! I would definitely buy it again! 😁👍🏼

I bought this for the guitar used at church. It work beautifully and 1 week later I bought another for the bass guitar. It connects and operates beautifully. It connects easily and is very simple to use. Sound quality is very good and the distance in the church is about 75 feet and there are no dropouts. However, the first one I bought developed an odd problem with the receiver...sometimes it turned on and other times it didn't. I would have to turn on and off multiple times and usually it did eventually work. Other times it would turn on then turn off on it's own. I think the return window has closed. The second one is working great and I have no problems with it. I'm not sure exactly how I'll replace the first wireless system. I'm thinking I may just go ahead and buy another one of these because it really is a nice wireless guitar system. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of this problem which may simply be one of those 1 in an thousand defects that show up in manufacturing.

Having used several wireless systems over the years, these have really worked out quite well. The battery life is really, really good in that I haven't depleted them in a single sitting. Last week I attended a 4-hour long jam session, and they were still going strong by the end of it.Overall, what I like most is:1. Sound quality is excellent, with no discernable latency that I can hear.2. Battery life is outstanding. I have left both units on for up to 7 hours, and found them still charged and without a low-battery warning.3. No interference at all that I have found with the many bluetooth devices that I use.The only complaints I have are:1. There isn't a power LED in an easier-to-see location. The channel indicator light comes on when the units are powered on, but they appear on the face, which is not visible if they are plugged into the side of a guitar. Having a power LED near the power switch would make it easier to quickly confirm that the transmitter is still on.2. Although the transmitter does fit on a stratocaster, it is a bit awkward since folding it forward results in it potentially getting in the way of the tremolo arm, while extending it out leaves it hanging out. It does work, but it is not the most aesthetically pleasing fit.
