Thrive, Bodyshave Oil, 2 Ounce

Not a terrible product, my wife seems to be enjoying it. Her only grief is that it doesn't slughtly foam up as much as she would like (she isn't expecting it to be shaving cream, but it is a little difficult to tell where its been applied). Great news is that even though it is a super tiny bottle, it goes a long way. So when you open it up and can't believe you spent so much on so little, know that it lasts awhile.

A nice oil for softening tough spots as a pre-shave lubrication. There is a nice natural fresh botanical scent to the oil as well. Post shave the oil imparts a slight astringent after-effect on the skin. Overall a very nice product.

Legs were very smooth and it works just as well if not better then regular shaving cream. It is a little hard to see where you have already shaved but use in a well lit room and you should be fine.

I have been using the Face Balm and the Scrub for a while now. So, I decided to check the Body Shave Oil and it's as great as other products - the skin is so smooth. I love it.

UPDATE: After posting this review, I was contacted by Thrive and received a full refund. So while Thrive's product may not have been something for me, I truly commend it's customer service. If you look at Thrive's website, it appears to be a company committed both to its products and its customers, which is something to admire. Thank you Thrive.This is what I get for being frugal. I bought this because I ran out of an oil I love, but I didn't want to pay for shipping just to reorder one bottle of oil. This oil really isn't oily at all. When you put it on, it gets milky and doesn't really stay on your skin like other shave oils so you have to use twice as much as other oils. The pump was also horrible. I would have to wait for the button on the pump to slowly rise before I could pump a second oil squirt into my hand (and I needed six squirts per leg). It was so frustrating that I ended up pulling the straw out and inserted it into the pump of my old empty bottle. I also don't like the smell. It smells very medicinal. And ladies - if you plan on using this to shave your bikini area, be warned that it burns a bit. It's not a big deal, but definitely a menthol-ish feeling (most likely from the peppermint or eucalyptus). I will go back to using Oui Shave.

I only registered in Amazon to buy this bodyshave oil (not too happy with Amazon's behavior towards women lately regarding equality, diversity and inclusion). I'm a swimmer and I prefer to shave my legs if I don't have time to wax them. I discovered this product at my friend's house while I was staying with him. I have very sensitive skin and while I have experienced rashes with other products, I never had a reaction with this one. The oil leaves your skin smooth and I never had any cuts while shaving with this oil. I love the texture and smell. My legs look great and my skin is moisturized after every shaving. I love it!
