Dual Tip Brush Marker Pens, 18 Brush and Fine Tip Art Marker Pens for Beginners Journaling Hand Lettering Writing Planner

I am absolutely loving these markers, especially for the price, but I do have to say one of my markers, lime green, was completely dried out.

I used these for several weeks in a classroom. While the most commonly used colors did run out, it took a while - despite hard use by small hands. The colors are vivid and definitely match what they are supposed to be. A great deal.

These dual calligraphy pens are so cool. I love the variety of colors and the size of the tips work really well with what I wanted to achieve. I had to play around with the pressure to get it the way I wanted to look and it was easy and pretty to do. I love how the ink flows so nicely from the tips and it was such little effort to make my normal writing into something pretty. All the colors are truly what the cap stats. All the pens come nice with all ink wet and not dry. I’ve purchased pens before from other places and they were all dried out! The size of the pens are nice for writing as well not too small and not too big so that it easily grips. I also like that they have different caps for the thin side of the marker vs the thick side. This prevents me from having to open both to find the tip I was looking for. I highly recommend these pens!

I haven't even uncapped any of these pens yet. they arrived with yellow ink leaking all over the inside of the package and the neighboring markers.Edit 1: After I cleaned up the exterior of the markers, I swatched them all. They are SO wet and juicy that they splatter ink just when removing the caps, even on the fine-liner nibs. Both ends of more that half of the markers had enough excess ink on the the nib that there were bubbles and dribble of excess in forming on the surface of the brush. There was significant color ghosting and some bleeding through high quality fountain pen paper. If the user wants to use both sides of their paper, these markers will be difficult to manage, and even simple quick coloring or writing is likely to make a goodly mess on the artist's hands. (and face! I got ink splatters on my face just from SWATCHING.)EDIT 2: I let the pens lay flat for a few hours and did some generic scribbles to try to use the excess ink, thinking that attitude or shipping may have messed with the extra extra fast ink flow. After this preparation. I did this one coloring sheet, printed on migrate, 20lb. multipurpose printer paper. I was careful to use only the brush nibs and light pressure, and minimal wet-layering. The color saturation and ink sheerness is lovely, but the pens remain SO SOGGY. My hands are covered in ink splatters. The ink soaked through onto the table below in several places and was wet enough to make the paper pulpy. You can see on the back of the paper how much bleeding there is. and is is with LIGHT hand pressure and nearly no stroke overlap. I did intentionally layer colors on the snake, and it was lovely.

I go through a lot of pens. I collect the good ones. These are top notch, some of the best pens I've ever used. Lots of rich pigment, lots of ink. The fine tip has lots of color too. I really, really, really like the brush pens. Lots of control so you can do calligraphy with them or just enjoy coloring for a few minutes. You can't beat the price. I could have several sets of these in reserve. Great pens. Really super. :)

To my mind, "calligraphy" requires a chisel-tip pen or a fountain-pen nib — something which creates distinct thick and thin lines depending on how you push and pull the pen. These are gorgeously vivid colors, but they are more like brushes. So you can create "beautiful writing," but the letters have to be enormous to get any kind of variation in stroke width.If you are looking to do invitations or place cards, this is not the product you want. If you want to color, draw pictures, or possibly write on something poster-sized, these are absolutely lovely pens. The colors are bright and true and the pen tips are fluid.

They are great and look as the pics. The marker end can be a bit messy though because I have gotten some marker ink on my hands every time. It is easy to wash off your hands though. Still great and I love the colors
