Absolutely brilliant bit of kit.Very easy to use, the cable cutting tool took a little getting used to with the different blade hights.Everything seems very durable, the functionality of the crimping tool is very good and the little connectors fit very well when the cable is cut to the right size and length.10/10.

Moved sky Q so needed new connections as rerouted cables. Tool works but fittings not quite. Enough to do the job but not 100% secured to the cable.

Cable stripper fiddly to set up, but crimper easiest I've eve used.Low rating because the instructions need to be clearer. Equipment fine once you get used to setting the gauges correctly. Have a practice first!

I needed to replace the f connector on my Virgin Media cable after my builder cut the original wire off and plastered over it 🙈 The builder thankfully managed to drill a hole further down the wall and pull the remaining wire back through but I needed to add a new compression f connector. This kit did the job from stripping the wire to successfully adding the connector. It screwed perfectly into the signal conditioner and the router connected first time, no issues. Would recommend for folks needing to do similar.

Instructions are poor. The inner metal tube inserts under the shield and outer jacket. Push through until inner plastic core can be seen. The black plastic compresses against the outer jacket. Do not trim the jacket right back. Only 0.8mm and fold the braid back over. When inserted the metal tube goes under the braid. Also after compressing. Add a modified coupler to the f connecter. This allows you to fully compress the connector. No black plastic showing.
