Using this increased my bandwidth significantly compared to the connection through my old UPS.

The adapter looks sturdy from the exterior with some kinda metal casing possibly aluminium. I am not sure if it's working. I just hope it never trips.As a adapter, it does the job though. One thing I noticed, is I plugged one via my decoder (fibre to data) to the router and then basically router to my PC. This seem to work and wired connection is good BUT weird enough wireless speeds falls by about 20Mbps.The other settings is connecting the 2 adapters together, the rj45 cable from my router to my PC is about 20m say. This actually didn't work, there weren't internet connection, Strange. Must be my fault somewhere, didn't bother to adjust or check it a 3rd time.Basically the 1st picture shows the adapter use between the decoder and the router. 2nd picture between the router and my PC. This will be the former setting I described above.Wired connection with the former setting is good. It's the maximum speed stipulated by my ISP. I use the wired setting though and really pray there is no surge to actually find out if this device works at all.

Well, it happened. Lightning strick one of my outdoor antennas and the surge went around my house killing several devices. I had two of these on my networking lines and neither did absolutely anything. I'm positive the surge was over Ethernet as well. $2000 in damages to my devices (2 dead switches, 1 PC, 1 amplifier, 1 router).. these things didn't even get damaged or take any hit. Do not trust.

Nice sturdy design, seems to work fine. Signal is still strong with this bridging the connection.

Once I remove it comes up again at 10Gb.I put a bunch of these on 100Mb and 1Gb connections to protect those devices from any power surges. Can't tell you how well they work yet.

Not 1 of these worked and I can't get any refunds. Don't waste your money, they don't even work as a generic coupler. You connect these and NOTHING WORKS. JUNK JUNK JUNK

落雷でPCが壊れるのを防ぐために購入しました。本体は金属でできており安っぽくはないです。ただジャックの穴から向こう側が見えるので効果の方は半信半疑です。落雷時にLANケーブルを抜き忘れた時のお守り程度に使います。

一つはリンクが安定しませんでした。のこり3つは支障なく使用できてますが、さて。。

通信速度の低下は、測定したわけではありませんが、気になりませんでした。あとは肝心な雷サージ耐性がどのくらいあるかですが、これをつけたことで、安心しました。ないよりは、あった方がいい、保険的に使っています。

まだ効果は判りませんが、少なくとも接続速度の劣化は無いと思います。
