If you love Aloe Vera gel (I sure do), you'll love this scrub. That, plus some other amazing ingredients, make this one of the most gentle face scrubs I've ever tried. I have sensitive skin, but I also break out quite often. So, I always need gentle products that won't irritate my skin and cause even more breakouts. This product is definitely high on my list of approved products for my skin. Even though it's so gentle and has soft gentle exfoliating beads, it does a very impressive and amazing job of exfoliating my skin.My skin feels very clean and refreshed after using this; plus, it brightens my complexion and gives me a nice glow. I love the smell - it's a really fresh, floral scent that is strong but not overpowering or overwhelming. The consistency of the scrub is a medium thickness, yet it's also a little runny. Luckily, a small scoop is provided to help you get the product out of the jar withing making too much of a mess!It also feels very cool when you apply it to your skin. If you're broken out a lot and your face is irritated or in pain, the cooling sensation will really help to soothe your skin and make it feel better. Along with whiteheads, I get horrible hormonal breakouts thanks to PCOS and they often feel really itchy too. This scrub helps to calm my skin and provides temporary relief from itching and irritation - which also helps me to stop touching my face so much.It's a good idea to open up your pores before using this so that it can do a better job of unclogging them. So, I tend to use this in the shower after the steam has had time to open my pores. I have noticed a difference after using this for a few weeks now - my skin is softer, smoother and more hydrated. Even the spots where I'm broken out are smooth and not all rough.
