This is a luxurious body wash, the color is silver making it eye catching. The scent is very light so it is perfect because it won’t counter act with perfume or cologne should you wear either. Lather great and rinses clean without leaving you skin with residue. It does not dry out your skin or leaves your skin feeling tight. Definitely will buy again.

Great product and different from the "standard" body washes on the market. My husband loves it.

There are 4 guys in my house and we took turns using this body wash. Here’s what they all think:The 17-year-old's conclusion: His first statement was “It smells like that ‘factory man-smell’ that all deodorant companies think men want to smell like.” The same type of smell that generic men-only body washes seems to resemble. As far as the products description saying “cleanse your body without stripping away vital moisture” he strongly felt that using this exfoliating body wash did indeed strip away vital moisture. His biggest complaint is that post-shower it leaves his skin feeling dry.His biggest compliment was the very nice presentation in the bottle. Too bad he doesn’t want it to stay.The 15-year-old’s conclusion: He said it comes out of the bottle ‘stickier’ than other body washes, and he describes the scent as a familiar fruit that he just can’t place. He’s pretty agnostic about the smell though. Interesting enough, he describes the after-effect as leaving him feeling “slippery” out of the shower no matter how much he rinses. He doesn’t indicate that this is a positive attribute.The 14-year-old’s conclusion: “It’s fine”The 46-year old’s conclusion: I don’t know what the other two were complaining about. There is a hint of a scent when you first apply it, but the scent dissipates quickly. I feel an exfoliating effect without being coarse, and I feel a bit of moisturizer, but not overpowering or excessive. I almost always use a plain bar soap and usually shy away from shower washes, but I quite enjoy this one and have taken the bottle for the master shower. I really had no issues.

Pepper scent was too pungent and box came beat up. Wanted to like this but didn't.

A quality list of ingredients meant this didn't have any negative affect on my skin. It feels nice going on. But the aroma aspect of it leaves something to be desired, like the shampoo and conditioner, I can only smell the black pepper oil. Which is a shame because it has many other oils in it that should smell great. Nice product if the smell doesn't register with you in the same way that it did for me.

My skin is mostly normal with a few dry patches here and there in the winter. I felt it was a decent cleanser and didn't cause any issues so I continued using it. Around 2 months ago, I ran out and decided not to repurchase. Within weeks I began developing bumps on my forehead that I could not get rid of. I tried several cleansers (with and without my Clarisonic), switching up my routine, etc. A few sheet masks I tried worked a little, but didn't get rid of the problem. Not only does a single bottle last forever because of the superior quality, but the body wash also smells great. For the most part, this is the body wash to get for bathing purposes. The hydration portion helps rejuvenate any dry skin, and with the body wash lasting for quite some time, the value is great. I like a product that does double duty so I don't have to buy tons of stuff. This product hydrates AND cleans so I don't have to buy a lotion AND a bodywash. I just have to buy the bodywash. I like that the dispenser for this bodywash is on the bottom of the bottle so that all of the bodywash falls to the bottom and I like the shape of the bottle - it fits nicely in my hand while I am lathering up. Once the bottle starts to get empty, it becomes kind of a pain to try and squeeze all the bodywash out, but otherwise this is a great product!

So many good things to say about this wash.I have extremely sensitive skin. My body tends to break out in rashes with many soaps and washes. That is not the case with the Beau Brummell.A little goes a long way. It lathers extremely well. The scent is a mild manly (no flowery girly smell) scent. I find that this wash leaves my skin feeling moisturized much longer throughout the day. Don't let the price hold you back, it is worth every cent and as I said a little goes a long way. Only caution would be to say that it says organic ingredients, yes it does have organic ingredients but they are only about half of all the ingredients. So if you are looking for an all organic wash this is not for you.
