Its really hard to drink it .. it smells and tastes horrible ..

I like this tea, and I'm years past being post partum haha. Anyone who likes stronger tea will appreciate this one; it's bold but not bitter. Fruity taste with a tart background. For all the ingredients it's very well balanced. Can smell the licorice, but it's not overpowering in the taste.It's a strong tea - I make 8 oz cups, the directions call for 12 oz adjusted per taste. I haven't noticed a big caffeine kick to it - but I drink strong coffee throughout the day so it's hard to isolate the caffeine from this tea. It's there, I'm sure.Cute packaging, this would be really nice as part of a Post Partum, Shower, or new mom Mother's Day gift basket!The individual net sachets are nice and give a consistent brew each time.Note: Not every time, but occasionally this can rile up the digestive tract. I think that's the licorice at work - maybe more of that is in some sachets than others? That could be a pro or con, depending on someone's current situation. Maybe try the tea out at home before downing a cup and heading out the door :)

This Recovery Tea is great. It contains cinnamon, licorice root, green tea, red rooibos, milk thistle seed, dandelion root, chamomile, strawberry leaf, raspberry leaf and oatstraw plus natural black cherry flavor. This one definitely tastes of black cherry and I really like that a lot. It is sweet and soothing at the same time and just one of the teas I enjoy a lot right now. I usually make a big one of this one and enjoy it for hours slowly sipping away (like 32 ounces with one tea bag).You can either brew the tea bag twice like I do or make a huge 32 ounce batch and slowly sip that even when it cools, all depends on what mood I am in really. I love to drink tea and love to have variety and this one is a great addition to my rotation.

Horrible taste and smell. Took one sip and that was it. Taste like medicine.

I am delighted to have received this delicious tea through Amazon Vine, for the black cherry flavor is quite wonderful, and maybe even a little invigorating.The tea, moreover, need not be used only by women who have recently given birth. (I certainly haven't.) It's quite delicious for anyone.It's full of wonderful natural ingredients.Having said that, there is no way I'd pay so much for a package containing only 20 tea bags. It's a luxury I can't afford. So when this package is gone, I will have to move on and find other teas to substitute.Glad to have tried it, but too "rich" for my purse.

Very, VERY strong smell of black cherry when you open the bag. Actually it was so strong, you could smell it even before unsealing the bag.After a three minute steep and a touch of stevia, the first few sips were ok. But as I continued to drink it, the taste slowly, but surely, became like sipping cough syrup. It tasted like it SHOULD have been good, but it just didn't end that way.I finished the cup of tea, but I haven't been back for another.Very odd, confusing cough syrup tasting situation.2/5

This has more of a medicinal taste and smell than I was hoping for. It did give me an energy boost with the caffeine associated with green tea. I don't think these are limited to post labor recovery usage as I am not postpartum. However, I'd say this tea is just ok by taste.

I was craving a lot of tea postpartum and got this one. Each sachet makes two cups of tea. The tea has a nice black cherry flavor and is made with green tea - so I get a good boost of caffeine to help me on those days when I'm exhausted from waking up every 2-3 hours to feet my baby. The warm tea is quite soothing and helps me drink lots of liquids which is helpful while breastfeeding. I know sometimes it's not recommended to drink caffeine while breastfeeding because it could affect your baby, but I haven't seen my newborn stay awake more or be affected by this. Easy to make tea and something to treat yourself postpartum, knowing that all the ingredients are organic and meant for postpartum women!
