Took me three hours to put togeather, major part came in with no holes drilled. I drilled my own holes, contacted Summit who sent me a new part which I received after opening day of deer season here in Ohio. Very stable if installed very level, the only thing I do not like is the foot rest when getting in and out of the stand, with size 13 boat not very much room moving around between rest and stand base. With a two inch pad on seat butt still got sore after 2 hours in stand. At 16ft you are up in the air, a bit nerving with nothing around to hold on to. It took 3 of us to stand it up and move into place. Wearing my Rocky boots and fully dressed for cold it was a bit difficult finding foot holes in ladder, I would not have designed the steps with tops angled, I accidently stepped on angled top instead of in step and had my foot slip off. This could be dangerous to someone not paying attention. Over all I would buy again, very stable and quiet.
