Most camera straps are flat and so when they get twisted, they are a bother to straighten out. Not so this perfectly circular 'rope', which is very comfortable grip for a small, lightweight camera (I wouldn't advise it for an old-school film camera with a motordrive). I bought mine in red, which is like a beacon advising you have a camera. If you don't want to be noticed, you should order it in black. Only issue: it is difficult to install if you have big hands and/or failing eyesight (small and fussy attachment hardware. and you need a strong light). One other thing: most straps are adjustable for length. This 'rope' isn't...but I'm not sending it back.

I wanted to like it, I walked with it on a shoot for about an hour, and I ended up carrying it for longer than it was on my neck. The loose weave, makes the rope feel elastic. there is about an inch, to an inch and a half of bounce. As the rope stretches, it gets thinner so it hurts around the neck. The build quality is great. The stitching is very well done. Others might have better luck with a lighter camera...maybe.

I like this one because it has two rings on the ends. Somewhat like a key chain it connects to the camera and then then, obviously, the strap itself is attached to the rope. I also like that the rope is strong, but even better, it's soft. The length is long enough, but not at all too short either. It is very simple and effective. You can also choose the color.
