Learning going great!
I ordered this book for my soon to be 3rd grader to work on over the summer break and so far it is going great! My child is understanding the concept of multiplication and we're getting a head start for when school starts again.

Very good
My wife decided to home school our two youngest children during the covid pandemic and has chosen to continue doing so afterward. This book has helped teach our children tremendously. It gives them the room they need allowing them to write out the problems to solve them which really helps them learn. So far it seems to be right on par with their grade level and has really added to the homeschooling experience.

A great summer brush up
We used this for staying on track during the summer. It has been helping, but I wish there was more of an introduction before just beginning to start full blown multiplication.

Great for introducing child to multiplication!
I homeschool and try to foster student-directed learning, so I sometimes let my child have a say in what is being taught. So, when my 2nd grader asked to learn multiplication, I ordered this workbook. I wasn't planning to get into multiplication until 3rd grade, but if there's an interest in learning something new, I go for it. This workbook is small but mighty. I'm glad I went with this one because it breaks it down into straightforward, easy to follow & easy to understand concepts. I also liked how the workbook progresses in a sensible, sequential order. It makes it easy for any student to learn multiplication.

Goes nice and slow
My little kiddo loves to memorize facts. But I wanted him to understand WHY we multiply, not just recite the facts by heart. This book does a wonderful job of going from basics to the harder stuff. If your child already knows the basics you can always skip the beginning. If they are brand new to it or just need extra help then this will be a good fit.
