SRA SAC 305 Lead Free Solder Paste T3-35 Grams in a 10cc Syringe

I've tried this solder several times and find it difficult to work with. The syringe format should be great for repair and small hand assemblies but the paste dispenses inconsistently like it needed to be stirred which is impossible in the syringe. Mostly it's like damp sand on a circuit board and unable to hold a even the tiniest part in place until re-flow. The syringe is supplied with a needle tip and plunger but the plunger, while tipped for a normal rubber seal is only supplied bare and the syringe has a smooth plastic plug with no facility to hold the plunger. The plunger simply falls out unless you hold it in place and doesn't push uniformly given the very large amount of pressure needed to make the quite dry paste flow from the tip.The SAC 305 solder is excellent stuff but this format makes it very hard to use.
