compact and sturdy
I use this with my small iron while quilting/piecing. It has been perfect as it fits great on a TV tray by my iron. So far, no smell or change in structure. I have pieced 3 quilts to date since getting and love it. I don’t use steam as most quilting sites say not to or the wool will begin to smell. Enjoy

Comes with iron holder, nit iron
Mat is great. Comes with red thing for holding the iron. Does not come with the iron. Kinda misleading, but my fault for not paying attention.

Well constructed , use anywhere
Great item works great for pressing my quilt pieces and small projects . Love the size and it is a nice thick mat not flimdy

Perfect Size
Use this all the time next to my sewing machine. The size is great for my space. Thickness is good. Odor reported by some is not offensive, sort of like wet wool at times. Be sure to have protection underneath if using on wood surface as moisture does come through.

This ironing mat is convenient. The size is perfect for quilting blocks. When ironing it makes smooth, crisp seams. Don't have to worry about damaging surface under it.

No odor , Not quite sure about the hype but I like it
No smell, works good . I'm not sure about the craze of you need this. I don't find that to be so. Maybe after a few months is use?

Very convenient to iron while quilting. I really like this its easy to pull out instead of the ironing board.

It is a great addition to my travel sewing
It is about 3/4 of an inch thick or more. It works great on any surface for ironing. It's lightweight and fits into my sewing bag with my sewing machine so I can take it with me and don't have to take a regular size iorning board.
