Just what I needed
Having a bad hip and knee..it was a struggle to reach to put socks on for me just the right side was difficult I found this and it works amazing, easy to use . I was worried a little about it over stretching my socks but I think if used at time when you decide to put socks on it won't be an issue. It goes on fast and super easy to use..glad I made this purchase..

A real help putting on socks
Have used one of these products for several years. I bought a new one recently and was somewhat disappointed. The plastic used on the new one has a dull finish and my socks do not slide on it as well as my older device which had a smooth, shiny finish. I wish they had stayed with the older plastic finish. It still works but not as well as my older one. But, well worth trying if you have difficulty bending over to put your socks on.

Kind of small.
I have one made by you. I didn’t see anything in the description indicating that this one was smaller or childrens size.

I was worried that my feet wouldn't fit, but all went well. I recommend it.
My previous sock and stocking aid was also from Sammons Preston, but a different model I got about three years ago. Last Thursday I noticed a crack in the middle of one end and that the crack was making its way down the length of the aid. I placed the order for the replacement, and sure enough Friday morning the one I had split in half. Fortunately the new model arrived on Monday. I was leery, because it was narrower than the previous one. Would my foot fit in it? By golly, it did, and the narrower form made it a LOT easier to get the stocking on this aid than my previous one. I recommend it.

Worked great until it didn't.
I use a sock aid because of bad hips one already has been replaced. I am well versed in using sock aids and had one for many years then it cracked. In June I purchased this one and sad to say it only made it to 9 months before cracking. For that reason I give it 3 stars, it worked great until it cracked and became unusable despite trying to superglue it back together.

Finally a smaller size I could use since I have a size 5.5 foot
It's a bit too narrow and too short to be completely easy to use but for the first time in over a decade, I was finally able to put on a pair of socks. Thank you for creating the children's or pediatric size sock assist. All other adult sock assist devices I ever tried were so huge my size small adult women's socks would not stretch large enough to be able to be put onto the plastic device. The children's one works just barely for me (elderly adult female with small feet). I can get the sock over the front part of my small foot but since it's not meant for adults it's too short and I need to reach down and grip the sock with my hand near the heel of my foot and then I can pull the sock all the way on. It's better than nothing. Now I'm going to celebrate by trying to buy the no-slip hospital type socks in a size small so I can wear them around the house and finally have comfy warm no-slip feet! yay!
