Unves Stainless Steel Manual Juicer Lemon Squeezer with Bowl, Silver

I wanted a citrus juicer for a low price in order to juice lemons that I have growing in our backyard. I read the reviews about the lever versions and how the metal was flimsy feeling and that the "cup" was not large enough to squeeze fruit much more than something sized between a golf ball and tennis ball. Not only that, but I also read about there could be issues long term with the hinge pin that holds the two handles together. Looking at a powered juicer would also be overkill and difficult to find a place to store it for most of the year when it would go unused.I figured that this juicer would fit all that I was looking for: low cost - easy to use - little chance of breaking - compact size. At least one reviewer mentioned that the holes seem a bit small and that not all of the juice makes it into the bowl, and I had that issue as well. However, had the holes been any larger, there would have been a greater chance that seeds or additional pulp would make it into your juice. All I did to remedy this issue, was to tip the juicing portion to allow the juice to either pool in a more compact area, or pour the remaining juice directly into the container using a knife to strain / keep the rest of the stuff at bay. Do not let this discourage you though, as most of the juice does make it through the holes (estimate of 95%).I am not familiar with the "Unves" brand, but when the box arrived, it was covered with Asian typeface symbols and a sticker loosely applied with "Unves" attached to it.Other than that and with no issues so far, I give this product 5 stars.

This is not high quality. Not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Easy to clean.

I ordered this because it looked similar to the one I have had for 30 plus years. Well, it's not. The drain holes are too small to let the liquid through very well. A lot of the liquid stays on top with the pulp and seeds. When you go to pour it, the liquid on top comes out along with the liquid in the cup, and along with the seeds on top. If you try to remove the top juicer part, you spill the liquid that hasn't drained down into the cup, and you lose the liquid that hasn't drained into the cup.I am not sure how they can remedy the problem. Maybe use small drain slits instead of small drain holes.

This juicer works ok. The side of it is very sharp for some reason and ended up cutting my finger.Additionally, the holes on the top (where the liquid drips into the bowl below) are not smoothed where they're drilled, so the juice can cause surface tension and get trapped.

fast shipping, this is perfect for me to do small jobs like making a glass of real lemonade or lime aid. Even an occasional pitcher of same would work. Nice and easy to clean. Unbreakable too.

Works wonderfully. Good quality and cleans up easily. Beats the breakable glass ones or the cheap plastic ones found elsewhere.

It is a Chinese brand, not Unves. All Chinese in the package. There is no where to tell you the stainless steel is 18/10. Returned it.

Item arrived damaged. There was a spot of rust on the inside, and a large, 1-inch long area in the center of the base that looked like someone had deliberately scratched it up. Additionally, there is no way to tell whether the item is stainless steel as advertised, because it arrived in a cheap-looking box labeled only in Chinese. This is probably not actually a Unves product, as it is not labeled as such.
