Natural looking hair with no frizz
I have very short, wavy hair. I like the convenience of being able to let it air dry, but it gets very frizzy. I’ve tried some other products, but wasn’t happy with the stiff or waxy feel of my hair. This product eliminates the frizz, gives me the hold I need, and still leaves me with hair that looks and feels natural.

Repurchased 3+ times!
Like many other curly haired girls, I’ve tried a lot of different hair products and almost all of them did not work for my hair. My biggest concern was the frizz! No matter how much product I used or how strong the hold was or whatever combination of different brands I used, my hair would be a frizzy disaster within hours. I live in Texas so the heat and humidity is no joke.Curlsmith products are expensive but so worth it! This is the only brand that actually retains my curls and reduces the frizz I deal with.My current routing is washing my hair with the Frizz Control line shampoo and conditioner (green label). Once out of the shower, I section my wet/damp hair in half down the middle and apply the Weightless Air Dry Cream (blue label) to each side. I rake it through my hair first, then use the ‘praying hands’ method, before finishing it off by scrunching my hair up. I then immediately apply the Feather-Light Protein Cream (purple label) and do the same steps of raking, praying hands, and scrunching. Then I just let my hair air dry and wow! The results are amazing.I also have the Frizz Rescue Finishing Serum which Is used after your hair dries and gets the gel cast. I’ve used it a few times but can’t seem to get the right amount so my hair is either greasy looking or just too heavy. I’ll keep experimenting with this, but my hair is just fine without it so I tend to skip using it altogether. Same with the Frizz Rescue Curl Retainer. I used this a lot for a few months but it became too heavy for my liking. Just couldn’t get the amount right either.Anyway, this air dry cream is now a staple in my routine! I’ve bought the travel size once and the large squeeze bottles twice already so finally decided to just get the largest size since I use it so often. A little goes a long way so it lasts for months. I apply about a quarter size amount for each side of my hair. Each product line has its own scent but I think they blend together very well. I don’t find it annoying or overpowering. I consider this a plus.Highly recommend getting the travel size of all the products you want to try. They are expensive for the size, but you’re still saving money since you can use up the travel size bottles after a few uses and be done with it. I think each comes with enough to really get a feel of whether it works for your hair type. Instead of buying a larger size for a few extra dollars only to find out you don’t like it and end up with a large amount of product that you’ll never use. This is one brand that I think is worth the high prices. I might try their other lines eventually, but food now my 4 step routine is just great (cleanser (shampoo), conditioner, air dry cream, and protein cream. No tools or heat needed. Just your hands and the air lol.I highly recommend giving them a shot if you can’t seem to find the right products for you.

Mind your hair type.
Before you buy any curl products, it's a good idea to do a bit of research into your hair type and what kind of management and nutrients your hair needs. My hair is wavy and very fine. It's not dense. It's easily weighed down by products that are too heavy, it gets dried out really easily with the weather or if products contain too much protein, and then it becomes oily when products are too hydrating. It breaks easily. It's constantly falling out. I have had a big issue finding products that work for my hair. I've already tried Girls With Curls, Garnier, and Aveda, just to name a few. And I ended up really liking the Curlsmith Air Dry Cream. When they call it weightless, that's technically true, my hair isn't weighed down and flat when using this product. It does give my hair a lot of shine, controls frizz, hydrates without making it too oily, and makes it less prone to knotting. My hair is nice and soft. Crunchiness is minimal. You don't need a ton of product to get the benefits and you can work it in either using your fingers or with a brush. That being said, it's not a product that keeps the waves/curls in. You're going to either need a mousse or gel to maintain hold and definition, because after 2 days my waves start to come undone if I didn't put in a ton of mousse on wash day. This isn't the end of the world for me in particular because by day 2 or 3 I use the spray bottle and reapply some lightweight mousse to redefine my waves regardless, but I just thought I should mention it. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied.

One of my favorite Curlsmith products
This is one of my favorite Curlsmith products and one of my favorite leave in conditioners in general. Lightweight, but still moisturizing and smells amazing. Have repurchased a few times now and will always make sure I have a bottle in my collection

Great Hair Product
Great product. I like it as good as I did the Redkin Curvacious hair product, which you can't get anymore

Not weightless
This is heavy and leaves a residue. I have thick fine wavy hair. I would not recommend this for similar hair types unless a product buildup wouldn't bother you. I felt like it made my hair less silky and more likely to tangle.

Hyaluronic acid wonder
This is my favorite product from Curlsmith. It has hyaluronic acid, an occlusive which attracts a lot of moisture while not being heavy or frizz-inducing. I use it pretty much every wash day on soaking wet hair before a curl cream and gel. The cream has a non-offensive smell. I also use it to refresh my fine curls by mixing it in a bottle every night and/or use this mixture on my hair at night. I hate deep conditioning regularly, and this product helps me get away with it. This cream legit has made my hair much healthier over time. As with all curl products, you’ll have to experiment with how much to use, how often, and the technique (brushing it in, prayer hands, etc.). Definitely worth trying!
