Omnivos tuning forks are aluminum and machined in the US.

Q: What's the difference between using these or using the Otto 128?

The C&G are unweighted tuning forks so you'd place them by the ears and around the body. The Otto 128 is a weighted tuning fork so you would place that by the ears and on the body. The Otto or weighted tuning forks are generally for physical healing while the C&G are used typically for energetic work. That is not a steadfast rule but it is a good starting point. Hello, the C256hz is 8 1/4" and the G384hz is 7 1/8.

Q: My 256/ c fork is showing on my tuner as a g. all my other forks are accurate. what's going on?

I would guess that your c fork produces a strong g harmonic which your tuner is picking up instead of the fundamental. (Sorry if it’s inappropriate to answer an old question). Play a bass c on a keyboard and see if it’s the same note.
