good product , a bit noisy , but does what it was designed for

It doesn't seem like the gears driving the turn table have tight enough tolerances to reliably achieve the 0.5 degree increments it boasts. Instead, the slop seems to make it so that it's really only reliable for about 1 degree rotational increments.

I bought this for photographing small items in a medium light tent. It works great: turns on and runs reliably, nice clean surface that doesn't get marked, and it has all the switches and plugs on one side so you can hide them easily.My only complaint is the remote control. It's complicated and relies on symbols that don't do what they look like they'd do, so I have to keep the manual close at hand. What it does isn't complicated - it's just not very well designed.Other than the confusing remote, this unit is pretty much perfect.

Great little turntable for videography. I used it to shoot some of my product videos. It definitely makes a smooth turntable to get your products from all angles. It gets the job done although the remote has way too many buttons so it makes it a bit difficult to figure out the basic movements you need.

I have not actually used this in my work yet, but out of the box, this is one of the most brilliant designs to solve a problem that I have seen. I have the version without the computer interface, as I didn't need that.I am a sculptor and I spend a lot of time looking at my work-in-progress from various angles. This turntable automates that process in ways that I hadn't imagined before trying it out. Highly recommended from a design viewpoint. I will update this review if I discover a problem with the hardware quality.In response to a question, I am attaching a shot of the remote which give an idea of how versatile this product is. This is a great product.
