Works great
I saw the reviews and was a bit nervous to buy this. But, as a care-giver for someone with dementia, it met 3 criteria for me:1. Large bottom so less chance of tip-over.2. Microwaveable plastic - (Ceramic won't work because the outside gets too hot).3. Lid that was stays on and is easily managed by someone with limited ability. When I received this cup, at first inspection, it seemed a bit cheap, but it turns out that this is a perfect fit.My elderly Mom uses this every day and she loves it. I love it because I no longer have to clean up spills! She has been using this for about a month, and it's holding up well.5 stars from me!

Great coffee cup!
Was happy to find this cup with them not available anymore at local gas stations.

It fits in the microwave.
This is the only mug I have that fits in the microwave. All my others are too tall or ad stainless steel or other metal that can't be used for that. I like that it's light because I'm aging too fast for me to pick up a heavy cup. It gets a low score for retaining heat. It's just plastic and I don't think it's vacuum sealed. I'm going to keep it because I still need it for the microwave. It's not a good cup if you drink coffee slowly. I sip mine throughout the day. And I like my coffee hot. Just slightly lower than burning hot.

DEFECTIVE CONSTRUCTION
I picked up this EMPTY mug and water poured out. Magic trick? No! The water was pouring out of the lower section where it had separated from the upper section at the seam. Water must have leaked into the lower section of the mug while it was in the sink. Just a little water in the bottom section would generate a lot of vapor pressure while in the microwave causing the seam to fully separate. This Mug is supposed to be microwavable. Other reviewers have had the same problem (bottom section separated). Quality Control Issue!NOTE: I bought a nearly identical Mug 15 years ago at the BX. One BIG difference: The inside of my old Mug is smooth as glass. The inside of YOUR Mug feels like sandpaper (great place for bacteria to hide). I LOVE my old mug. I was using it every day! I have yet to find one of the same high quality (i.e. smooth on the inside). I don't know if this mug is supposed to be smooth on the inside. I have about 4 of them of assorted colors. None of them are smooth on the inside.

Doesn’t tip over
Probably the best reason to buy this mug is it’s stability. It does a pretty good job of keeping liquids hot. My only complaint is that I’ve had to replace the entire mug because eventually the top breaks from continued use. But a good mug for the price.

Leaky lid
This is my second comment and now that I've used the cup for a few minutes I've noticed the lid doesn't seal tightly and my coffee drips down the side as the picture shows. I'm thinking of returning the cup and getting a different one possibly a Stanley. It's going to cost me more money but I think it'll be a better made product. I'm quite disappointed because I thought it was exactly the type of cup I had years ago but obviously the quality is not there.

It leaks
I got this for my disabled husband but it leaks from the lid everytime he drinks from it. Waste of money.
