Beautiful water
Edit after 6+ months:Unfortunately the water filter is way too slow. This is a good thing filtration wise, but a terrible thing for anyone wanting to drink water. It simply can't keep up with the rate that we drink water in the summer. We bought the filter to help us drink more water, but think we're actually drinking less now, due to the amount of time it takes the water to drip through the filter. Based on this alone, we are unfortunately now shopping for a different filter that has quicker filtration (even if that technically means it's not as good!)____________________Crazy how nice this water is. It's only been a few days but I'm here to rave. Our water is very hard and chemically - the Epic Water filter turns this into the most beautiful (no other word for it really) drinking water. I look forward to every next glass. It's made water morish. Who'd have thought? I was previously a chronic squash drinker due to the horrible taste and texture of the water, then even that stopped cutting it, so I moved onto bottled water. Unfortunately bottled water comes with a slight plasticky taste. The Epic Water just tastes lovely. No particular flavour, just clean, refreshing, silky water. I had to run 3 loads through the dispenser before the loose particles of the carbon filter stopped coming through, resulting in a perfectly clear and beautiful water. Really I don't know what other words to use to describe it. Before Epic, water was a chore, now it is life. I watched a YouTube video by Modern Castle whereby they tested ten of the leading filter brands, and Epic Water scored second place, in front of Brita, Amazon and Zero Water, to name a few. The first place was Waterdrop, but they don't remove fluoride, so in my opinion, Epic actually won. Check out the video if you're interested. No issues or leaks so far. Thoroughly recommend this water filter.

6 months later- BEST FILTER I EVER PURCHASED
Water is the tastiest I've ever had. We did experience leakage initially but only because we did not tight it enough (I was afraid to break the plastic but when using more force to tight it, it did not break). So once tighten - it works perfectly, 6 month later.Amazon sold out the filter replacements, and we found out that ordering them directly from their website costs little over 30£ with subscription which is a bargain for how much water it filters over 3-4 month period.Very happy customers

Not the Epic I trust
I used to have the water pitcher, then bought this which came with a new filter. Now I have green water. Which clearly my family and I are not comfortable drinking.Customer service tells me to clean it every day with vinegar and keep it in the fridge. Which is totally impractical for a busy family. I would never have bought this, if I was expected to wash it with vinegar everyday. Costumer service has been incredibly disappointing and they have now lost a loyal customer from the past 4 years.

Perfect
I wanted a BPA free plastic filter and this works really well. We avoid tap water as much as possible now!!

Water filter
Really holds a lot of water.Slightly too large to go into the fridge, unfortunately but great, and does what it says.

Love it!! It makes the water taste so much better
This filter has been great. We have well water that has a very strong taste to it and this filter takes care of that. It has a larger capacity than our old filter so I don't have to fill it as often.

Tastes great
I don't usually do reviews but I'll say this. It works. The water tastes great. It filters quickly compared to other filter systems I tried. Fits on a fridge shelf conveniently so we have cold water on tap. A third party company did the testing on it. I feel better knowing that. I don't know how to measure fluoride levels so I'll have to accept that this filters out 97% of that stuff, like they claim. The family loves the water. It's a convenient system that works. We'll continue buying RO water but this is good to have in case we're not able to buy from the RO seller for some reason.

Caution, without sealing ring -kein Dichtungsring!!!

Best gravity filter, and I’ve tried them all!!
I have tried all of the gravity filters - brita, pur, etc. and I was ready to give up on them all. They clogged too easily, the filters were always on back order, they didn’t filter enough lead or PFAS… then I found this! It filters ALL of the above, it’s reasonably priced, and the filters last longer. And its made in the US as an added bonus. The water quality is great and I highly recommend! Also I don’t understand these reviews about design flaws, the design is sturdy and the tap is not flimsy… I’ve never had a single issue with leaks or any part of the container feeling cheap or breakable. The only caveat is that the filter performance is sometimes inconsistent. But I’m not convinced that this is a major manufacturing flaw, as much as I think it has to do with our consumption habits and the condition of our tap water. We consume more water during the summer as we host more guests and are more active, and summer storms cause sewer overflow into Lake Michigan which means more chemicals to be used for water treatment (live in Chicago). Sometimes the water here is so full of chemicals you can actually smell them, and I’ve noticed performance is shorter when this is the case. For some insight, we’re a household of two and we use filtered water for everything - cooking, ice maker, refillable water bottles, etc. - and typically the filters last us about 2 months. I’ve had them last as long as 3.5, and as little as 1 month. But all in all I love this filter and I think the water quality speaks for itself, so this isn’t enough to discourage me from leaving five stars and highly recommend. Sorry for the novel and hope this helps!!

Good Quality at a Reasonable Price
I purchased this water filter in July. Overall, its an excellent product. It fits nicely in my fridge and there is a massive difference in the quality of the water relative to the tap water that I'm putting through the filter. My kids love it and constantly ask to drink water now. My only negative comment would be that I've noticed that if my kids don't quite close the spout properly the unit will leak water into my fridge. Its not a major issue after educating them about closing the spout properly and putting some paper towel under the unit.
