Q: Is the gsm of these still a mystery? they look thin, like around 220. maybe jason was right-- there's an obvious reason it remains undislosed.

Years ago I bought the Costco towels, they are now wheel towels . I just don't see these towels moving in that direction anytime soon. Wash after wash they keep performing as new.

Q: What is the GSM and polyester/ polyamide ratio?

I don't know what the make up is however I can tell you : These towels are two to three steps above the Costco bundle. Plus, I use them as my turn to towel. I will buy more of these when I need to. I have washed them many times and they still perform as they are new.

Q: Why wont the manufacture would answer the GSM question...
