Works as it should.We had not used the resin rinse for awhile and the resin bed was fouled.This product fixed it and everything is back to normal.This is our second bottle.

The bottle in the picture is not the bottle I received. It might be old stock but the bottle I got does not have the NSF certification and that is specifically why I bought this product

It's a chemical, so the usual precautions apply - see label for details. We did the initial (4 fl. oz.) treatment and regenerated the softener. When the softener came back online, no chemical odor to purge (instructions include purging cold soft water until odor dissipates if it's observed, but we didn't have to). Softener seems to be working fine, but it was before the treatment as far as we know, too. Subsequent treatments are 2 fl. oz. each time the softener regenerates -- not sure how to arrange that without the automatic injector system, so we'll periodically add 2 fl. oz. and take the chance that some regenerations won't have it. So, about 15 treatments in the 32 fl. oz. bottle (1 of 4 fl. oz. + 14 of 2 fl. oz.).BTW, ours came in a quart jug with handle, not the round bottle currently pictured. Works the same. We haven't had any issues with our softener since it is fairly new, but wanted to make sure we don't. I just use this every other time the salt is almost empty, cheap way to potentially make sure your softener is working as well as it can.

Seems to work reasonably well although this is more of a maintenance type product so only time will tell for certain. The bottle/jug I received was not the same as shown in the photograph so I'm not sure exactly what you will receive or if it is exactly the same product. From the description is appears to be just a different size.

Our community has very hard water and so a functioning water softner is super beneficial. This all-in one cleaner helps to reduce some of the rust and hard mineral build-up. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It's much easier to practice regular maintenance than have to face expensive repairs down the road.

This works well on our bathroom fixtures - we have a lot of manganese and this help get rid of it but it smells soooo bad. I gag when I use it. And it ruins any cloth - need to throw it out.
