Took hours to install but the worst thing is the locks. I took them off completely after 24 hours because they were so flimsy they kept flicking to 'locked' unintentionally as the cat pawed at the flap. It's bad enough if your cat is nervous about the new flap, but if they do venture out. and then can't get back in again because the flap has locked, your cat is stranded outside,Don't buy this.

If you want to lock the flap to stop your pet going out at night or any coming in it’s not that great our little cock a poo managed to power he’s way in so overall lock is useless but easy to instal looks good and if your not trying to keep animals separated the cat/dog flap is good

Good for the money. Not the most sturdy. Small dogs (toy poodle, shih tzu, shih poo) like it but the cats seem to think that they have spent long enough training us to open the window to bother! The lab puppy is going to get a shock in a few weeks...

No instructions or fittings included. Pretty flimsy construction, but adequate because I only needed it as an emergency exit from the garage in case of accidental incarceration!
