I bought the shims to fill a clearance gap for the cooling fan inside my desktop tower. They worked perfectly and I'm glad I bought them.

Good quality copper. Of course you better sand it before use.

I docked the product one star as the case is not labelled for what is in it. Thankfully the one I needed wsa one of the pair that had a different quantity. So I just picked the smaller one. Aside from the lack of labeling the copper shims are high quality from what I could tell and worked perfect as a copper spacer for my Rpi4.

Doesn't have the amount of shims as labeled on the container it came with. Only had 5 out of the 6 1.5mm shims that it said was in the box and only 5 out of the 7 1mm it said was in the box...

It's copper? Nice case, had to label them myself. Pre-labeled compartments would have been a nice touch but not a big deal. Have not taken calipers to them as my work provides some wiggle room with tolerances.

The Surface Pro 8 SSD is replaceable with a 5530 NVME. The original SSD has a metal casing which act as a heat sink.The 512GB WDC 5530 SSD used as the replacement did not come with a heat sink. Without a heat sink and running CrystalMark, the temperature reached 60C in a few seconds.Using a 0.5mm thermal pad and the 0.3mm copper pad, when running CrystalMark the temperature peak at 40C. The original SSD the temperature peaks at 37C while running CrystalMark. This combination allow the WDC SSD to fit snuggly in the Surface Pro 8.
