Great, installed without any issues and made my table much more functional

I just installed this on my wife's electric "elevated" desk.. you know. the kind that goes up and down...This unit feels solid and well built. The connections feel solid, the attached power cord is heavy duty. The top plate looks well finished (a black crinkled matte finish) and the whole thing exudes an air of "elegance"... or at least as elegant as a block of black plastic with a bunch of holes can. I mean, it looks good. ;-DIt fits perfectly into the hole in the desk. Was very easy to install and provides nice extra access for power: she doesn't have to reach down under the desk for USB and AC power. The USB C is a nice addition. It really cleans up her desktop.. she hates cables. Go figure!The one thing I'd love to see is a USB hub version of this unit. It would be awesome.Now, I think I need a new desk myself.... ;-)

I had a little issue installing it. I thought, since I have many size hole saws it would install with no problem but I was installing it in a 1-1/2" butcher block counter so I had to buy a pricier deep hole saw and arbor that was wide enough for this to fit into. Just be aware of that possibility. I'm a DIY'r not a pro. Live and learn.

Everything seems pretty acceptable with this unit. USB charging has functioned well enough for the past six weeks or so.The layout is OK considering the limitations of being built into a circle. Reminder that with the outlets facing opposite directions you'll run into issues with most "wall wart" power adapters. Not sure there's much to be done with the physical limitations.I would like if the power cord was a little longer. Right now I'm forced to have this on the right side of my desk because it doesn't reach to the left. Still probably long enough for most use cases.

This was easy to install and adds a lot of functionality to my office desk, no more looking for outlets. Just make sure you have the correct size hole and you will be in great shape.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not aware of others - just found what I needed to install a plug outlet on top corner of my desk. A hole had to be cut with a hole cutting drill (which I had) and connect an electrical cord to wire the plug, and Voilà - I now had an outlet for my lamp and a perfect source of power for using and charging my “data items”.

Got one, it wouldn't charge my Macbook Air 13". It only required 30 watts so I thought it was defected and ordered a replacement. The replacement was the same. Simply would NOT work. Yes, I had a quality 100w USB-C cable, but sadly, they had to go back.
