I must admit I was influenced by the price when I purchased this. However, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." The plastic part was not tightly bound onto the metal portion on one side. The spring between the arms was not able to keep the arms of the remover apart because of the tightness of the fastener. To use it, I must manually separate the arms so I can get the teeth on the staple before removing it. I would return this but can't see taking anyone's time/effort for the price.

Cheap product doesn't work very well.

This staple remover works as well as any I have used before. The green color makes it stand out and easier to find in the drawer.
