This pillow is perfect for me. I like a fairly firm pillow and I sleep very warm. The gel keeps my head cool so there is no need to continuously flip the pillow for the cool side. It's always cool and I love it!

This cooling gel memory foam is my go to pillow every night. The other pillows on my bed get no love from me, as this is probably the best pillow I have ever used. This pillow is the standard 24x16 inch queen sized pillow, and it also comes with a cover with knitted mesh fabric on the inside of it and air flow spandex mesh on the outside of the pillow case. The cooling gel pad on the pillow is designed to extract your body heat and promote airflow, helping your head to stay nice and cool throughout the night. The rest of the pillow is made out of lovable memory foam, making it extra comfy on my noggin'. The memory foam also provides therapeutic support for your neck and head, allowing you to sleep throughout the night without any painful knots or hot heads. The pillow cover is also washing machine safe, so you can help keep it fresh and clean while the pillow itself keeps you cool and comfy. Now that's a winning combination! The pillow weighs in at about 6 pounds, so it's not a thin layer of foam or gel, it's nice and hefty and offers you full support for a restful night of sleep. As a bonus, it's also apparently resistant to dust mites and it's also hypoallergenic! It cost me around $30, and I may end up buying a second one in the future so I can have one on each side of the bed. I hardly ever have any issues falling asleep anymore, and it's thanks to my super cool and comfy pillow from Equinox!

I bought it as a gift for my husband's birthday. He said he loved the cooling affect & that it really did keep him cooler at night. However, the firmness of the memory foam was too firm for him. He woke up with his neck & back feeling stiff & a little achy. It must be noted that he usually sleeps on really soft pillows that goes down all the way to the bed when he sleeps.

Not very cooling at all for me...I had purchased a cooling pillow at a big box store which had thick gel all over the top and sides and really did a good job cooling but crumbing since its old. This one very small cooling area and just doesn't get the job done at all. Returning it.

When the pillow first arrived it smelled horrible needed to air it out for more than a month before I was able to tolerate it. Finally was able to use it and the cooling side was great and helped me sleep well as our landlord keeps the thermostat up high in the winter. I have noticed over the past month that it no longer keeps me cool at night even with the AC on high I feel all sweaty and wake up often from feeling overheated. Very disappointed in this pillow.

I purchased this for my stepdad after he expressed interest in the Frost Pillow at Costco.When I saw it was no longer there I began researching these types of pillows in general and for the price and reviews, this one was the best choice. He is pleased with the size, and said it really does keep the pillow and head cool. He likes there is no remove-able ice pack or weird preparation to do.He is pleased!

If you enjoy sleeping on a brick - then this is the pillow for you. So hard , zero plush - neck and headaches. So bummed!!!

Although the memory foam is really comfortable, the cooling gel leaves a bit to be desired; it's cool at first but doesn't stay that way. I slept on a different brand and expected this gel to stay as cool as the other one; I was disappointed. So 3 stars for the memory foam and 0 for the cooling gel.
