Blocks out unwanted snooping from outside
I found it difficult to get the this material to stay smooth on windows at first. But once I got it just right, the material for the most part has stayed in place for years, and I haven't had to mess with it ever. I like the way it looks from the inside and provides extra privacy in the upper bathroom window pane and in the kitchen door pane.

Great Quality & Fast Delivery
PURCHASED IT TO COVER UP HALF MY WINDOW SO I CAN STILL LOOK OUTSIDE WITHOUT BEING ON DISPLAY TO THE NEIGHBORS WALKING THEIR DOGS. IT STILL LETS IN NATURAL LIGHT AND EASY TO INSTALL. I WOULD BUY AGAIN!

I am very pleased.
The first time I received this product, the film was stuck to the inside of the plastic tube and had been stuck and re-stuck, so the surface of the film was scuffed and abrased and could not be used. I was very disappointed, so I immediately returned it within the hour. When the replacement arrived, it was in the same condition. The film was scuffed and abrased and by this point I was angry with the standard of quality assurance of this product. Not only did my weekend project have to be put off due to a poor product, but this was the first time EVER that I had experienced something like this with Amazon (I am a frequent buyer and have Prime), so I started to wonder if the fault was really in fact on Amazon's side.Nevertheless, I printed another return label and wrote them a note.Within 30mins I received a VERY apologetic email from customer service, stating that this was most definately not a typical Amazon experience, and that I needn't return the product, and that a new undamaged window film would immediately be shipped to me free of charge.Well, this was very soothing, because it showed me how prompt and professionally Amazon functions when it comes to customer service, and also, I wouldn't have to make my way down to the UPS drop-off in the middle of rush-hour, and I was getting a new, undamaged film.I was put at ease. The film arrived promptly and I would say, undamaged. There was a tiny tiny area that had been stuck to the inside of the plastic tube, but the abrasion was so small in comparison to the previous films I had received, that it was worth keeping. They also sent me an email saying that my other (door) film, which was supposed to originally arrive at the end of January, was scheduled to arrive just a few days after my window film, which made me REALLY happy, since now I could complete my weekend project in one go and not have to wait several weeks for privacy in my living room. So, in conclusion, my door film just arrived, and it is in relatively perfect condition (just the tiniest couple of abrasions on one end, but relatively invisible and insignificant). So I am extremely satisfied with how my orders were processed and with the approach of customer service in this matter. I have lived abroad for several years of my life, and the countries that I am used to don't even know what the word customer service means, so this really put a smile on my face.In addition, I don't think this was Amazon's fault. Either their supplier of window film has/had poor storage conditions to make the film stick to the plastic tube (also, only half of the tube is internally covered with commercial paper, and ofcourse, this part has not been abrased, so, maybe a little tip for the supplier/producer of this film), or they received a low quality shipment of window film from their supplier. Either way, they rectified the problem immediately regardless of the source of the problem, and I am a very happy customer that is searching for my next buy as I type.I will forever be an Amazon.com enthusiast and have already told everyone I know about the excellent handling of my order.THANK YOU Amazon!!!!!

Very pretty, excellent privacy film, still lets light in (could be pro or con!).
I love the way the film looks on my sliding door, it's very pretty and provides the privacy I needed. I was concerned that it would reduce the light in my room, but it only lowered my light levels by maybe 20%, which is not too terribly bad.If you want perfect results when you install the film, you must first be sure your window is absolutely, spotlessly clean. Don't skimp on the elbow grease! I used window cleaner, then a razor scraper over the entire surface of the window to make sure there was no debris whatsoever stuck to he glass. I wiped it off, then I cleaned it again, buffing it completely dry. Yes, a lot of work, but if you neglect a thorough cleaning, don't expect it to stick!Make sure you cut the material so that you have maybe a 1/16th margin all the way around. If you try to butt the edges right up to the window frame, it will likely peel away after a while, especially in extreme heat There is a minute amount or expansion/contraction that goes on, so you need to allow for it. I recommend that you use a sharp utility knife and a straight edge to get it right. In my experience, scissor cutting tends to make the edges less likely to lay flat and stick for some reason. To avoid bubbles, use soapy water in a spray bottle, and completely saturate the window. If you don't have an actual vinyl application squeegee (no, not a regular rubbery 'squeegee'), use a credit card or something similar, but be careful not to scratch the surface as you work; covering it in a thin cloth will help. Keep a clean rag handy to wipe up the water as you go. Position the film at the top and sides of your window and then generally smooth it into place with your hands. You can easily pull the film off and reposition it as necessary until you get it just right, but be sure to re apply plenty of soapy water as do so. If it dries out too much, it will be more difficult to get the bubbles out. Once in place where you want it, go back over it with your squeegee, working from the center out. Then go over it again a second time (you will be surprised to find you will compile more bubbles!). Wipe up any excess water, and you're done!

Very nice look and easy to apply
Wonderful product. Super easy to handle and apply. I did not have a squeegee and used only a clothe to push out the air. Even with that the end result was lovely. It does not reduce the light coming in the window by as much as I feared but it provides complete privacy.

Great Product!
I REALLY like it! I bought this for privacy, for the window of my entrence door. It works perfectly. The film is actually ''hydro-static'', it is not sticky like ''adhesive films''. When you put it on your window (after spraying the window with water) you can move the film around to the perfect position. All you have to do after is use something wide and flat to drive the water & bubbles out. Wipe it dry, and you're done. The paper is lined and squared for easy measuring and cutting. It also has easy to follow ''how-to'' both in writing and in images. We followed the instructions EXACTLY as they were, and we got perfect results. The film has been applied on my window for about 1 month now. It's been cold, warm, hot, high humidity, and so far it hasn't budged, not even a tiny lift on the corner.I'm happy I bought it, and I recommend it!

Amazing, love it!!
I bought this to cover part of my baby tortoise terrarium, so she woudn't see outside: I wanted something that would look good and woudn't be permanently glued, as I intend to put her in a bigger place in about 1 year. This looks absolutely beautiful, stylish and was much more easy than I though to put on! I love it! I just had to mesure all the pieces, as the roll dimensions I chose wasn't on the right side (long instead of large) but that wasn't too complicated and it doesn't show that much that the bamboos are not aligned. Very very happy with it!

Easy to apply
Easy to apply. Pattern looks natural, not ornate at all. Greatest benefits are the provision of the privacy and yet letting in the outdoor daylight.
