Used these with the 8’ hose by same company and was able to quickly make a solid connection to both dryer and an awkwardly located wall vent with no problems whatsoever. Mangled the previous cheap hose and metal extenders while trying to make a fit. Very frustrating. This item comes in three parts: a collar with clips that slides onto a 4” hose, a rubber gasket for either the wall vent or dryer exhaust, and a second collar that clicks right onto the hose collar and locks the hose into place. Just work that unit onto the gasket and you have a nice tight fit. Bought two: one for each end of hose — wall vent and dryer vent connections. Was done in three minutes and didn’t change out of my work clothes. Zero duct tape. Simple, excellent solution to a frustrating problem.

This is so cool and a great way to install and make sure that your connection from your dyer to the vent tube is flawless. I don't understand why would people if this negative reviews but this saved me so much time and it's so easy to install. I've had it for 2 weeks now and it's still performing like they created it too. Great job on this product!

I did not find the instructions intuitive. It was a bit of a challenge to get the thing apart, which is needed to reassemble with the hose in place. My hose had a sheet metal fitting on the end. Kind of a tapered male fitting. This would NOT work in the Snap-to-vent. Once I cut off the fitting, and just had the raw expandable hose, it worked fine. Well manufactured. Good fit of parts. Easy on and off which is important because I am using this for the exhaust hose of a spray booth which I have to move in and out of a window for each project. Glad I got it.

Mine did not come with the silicone ring. I used the one included with the wall adapter that I purchased, so it worked out. I needed the ring because the pipe on the back of my dryer is tapered/crimped at the end. I'm not sure how it all would have worked if the pipe were straight. If you pull it, it could probably come undone. So, if I pull the dryer out, I'll have to check it. But, it's still better than the wire rings and gobs of duct tape that I used previously. It would be great if they made a snap connect. The velcro with the wall adapter would be good too. Maybe they sell that separately. I definitely recommend their white dryer hose. Makes the whole thing better!

I hate to only give this product three stars. It is a quality precision made product that fit together perfectly until I tried to attach it to the dryer duct. It would not stay on. No mater how I adjusted the ring on the duct, pushed the attachment onto the duct, it would not stay. It would just not stay!

I needed to add an extender onto the dryer vent which made it difficult for the rubber piece to fit so I did not use it and it took time to get the two to click together but I do like how it is one piece to fit and it certainly looks better than all the aluminum tape to connect and secure all my connections

Easy to install. Even with the silicone friction ring the connector could not stand tiny movement of the hose when pushing the dryer back in place. The slightest sideways movement of the connector would cause it to come loose. Might be ok if you have an outside vent right behind your dryer in line with the dryer output, but if it's going to wiggle it will come off. After an hour of climbing over the dryer because of our laundry room set up I gave up and went back to a bit of HVAC tape and two .98 cent clamps to complete the job. Next time I'll not waste money on mid level junk and just spend the $$ for magnetic connectors.Please save your money unless you have easy access to the back of the dryer and you can connect the hose without moving the dryer.

This product is just what I was looking for to connect my hard to reach dryer vent. Yes it does snap together a bit hard on the vent pipe but I know it will stay in place! The institutions could be a clearer concerning the way the clear seal ring goes onto the dryer pipe. It made the finial connection simple.
