Great book like new condition!

This is an o.k. resource as far as it goes. It just doesn't go far enough. I pick the book up to do some research and put it down when I can'f find what I want (most of the time). The book is well written and seems to be useful for someone with out much background. I don't mean to be presumptious b/c I consider myself an elementary student of herbs, but I've studied essential oils. Though herbal study is different it is similar enough that I'm probably going from that education. It may be that I just didn't make the right purchase for myself, which happens and that should not be seen as a short coming of this text.

This is a complete sourcebook and it is necessary to keep my herbs books up to date and thorough. i am so grateful to find this.

This was advertised as completely updated but I have 2 previous editions (cannot believe I fell for it a third time) it appears to be the same, word for word in the bits I have read as my previous 2. I’ve given it 5 stars because it is a very informative book but there is no need to buy it if you have older versions ie the holistic herbals.

Not what I was expecting. I was hoping for a guide to practical uses of herbs. Not some nonsense on curing cancer with herbs. I shall go get the RHS book on herbs and possibly keep this for a few recipes here and there...
