I’d give this more stars but only 5 are available!!According to my cats, this is great! They stay around until they each has to opportunity to be brushed. I have had to separate them occasionally.I like the way this brush is assembled. Shorter bristles and the great way to remove the fur! This is a wonderful. No more scratches from the long wires trying to remove the fur. The removable of fur is so easy by just pushing down on the button all the way and the fur is all there easily removed with a swipe on the flat top with no hassle! Prepare for a lot more fur especially for the seasonal changes. Lots of fur removed!One cat doesn’t like to be brushed before this brush. Now he is begging for me to use it.You may have to brush more thoroughly to get excessive fur but your cat will love it! This really takes care of the fur!

Well made device. The push button hair release is an outstanding feature.Carefully introduce this to your cat. Leave it on the floor near something they use frequently ie water bowl bed etc.When cat is relaxed and in the mood for affection stroke the bugger a few times. After several sessions the cat will love the feeling and will lie down when you pick it up. I am very pleased. It removes a ton of hair. I mainly wanted an alternative to hairball meds; this is it.

The brush itself is very nice, and the hair remover works great, but it was not a good fit for my cat. My cat has medium length hair that is very silky, and when I'd brush him with it, it didn't really remove any hair. I think that the tines are too far apart for it to be effective for my cat. I do think it would be great for a dog, however, and I gave it to a neighbor who has a King Charles Spaniel, and I expect that it will work well for him. I wound up purchasing a slicker type cat brush that also had the hair removal feature and it works much better for my cat. I gave it 4 stars because it was nicely made, but just didn't work for the type of hair my cat has. It may work wonderfully for someone else.

I got this brush on a whim because I already had a traditional cat brush I used on my long-hair cat Jax. He loves this brush more than his previous one and demands that I brush him out every morning. And I thought I wouldn't care about the "push to easily remove hair" button, since I had no issue pulling hair from the previous brush. But it is a clever design and oddly satisfying to see that clump of hair after brushing.

You brush the cat... The cat freaks out and runs away, but comes back. They act like they don't want it, but secretly, they do. Removing the hair from the brush is easy. Just press the button and throw your allergies away. Easy peasy

Yes this does collect fur from my cat. I still need to remove the fur from the brush since it only pushes it to the surface when button is pressed. I was looking for a self release cleaning of brush as I am allergic to the cat’s fur
