What is important to know is the introduction and instructions it comes with in the package..
That it comes with instructions on how to utilize the arm strengther in so many procedures... Not just one way. Easy to adjust, great design and quality built!! It's awesome.. giving me the opportunity to increase not just my arm, but the wrist strength, Biset strength, and elbow strength.

Must have for Boxing/MMA!
I have been doing boxing/Muay Thai training for 4 years now. I started out doing big gloves and worked my way down to bare knuckle on the heavy bag. Most of my wrist training was just knuckle pushups with a plate - which definitely helped, but I would still get the odd wrist bend hitting the bag wrong and soreness from unintentional bad form/weakness. Ive had several wrist injuries over the years. All of this experience is prior to owning this piece of equipment.Since owning this wrist strengthener, Ive noticed a serious decline in the wrist caving when I hit the bag wrong - and I hit it with proper knuckle form more often. My wrists feel better and less susceptible to injury. All it is is primarily 3 isometric holds 5 times a week with light range of motion work added in, and maybe shadowbox while holding it a little. Its not a cure all to every possible wrist injury, at least yet, but it has given me noticeable improvement in wrist health. The only caution would be to work into the weight and reps. I overused the wrist strengthener when I first got it out of excitement, and it aggravated some of my old wrist injuries. Progression, progressions people! But definitely worth it - IMO every martial artist that uses fists for striking should have one of these. But do your own research too - learn how to hold your wrists and position your knuckles properly for punching. This awesome tool wont help prevent wrist issues as much if you have crap hand form under those heavy gloves!

Pay close attention to how the item's dimensions will actually lay upon your arm, wrist, and hand.
This seems like this could be helpful for some - but it was not for me:I noted carefully the length and looked well at the images, but I found this wrist strengthener to be too short for me and it's design was such that the middle bar was situated exactly on a point on my previously fractured wrist which caused the most pain.I also found the strength of the spring being fixed and not adjustable not to my liking. My advice: perhaps take the measurements the literally draw them on paper and then see how it would actually fit on you,: where it would rest on your forearm, wrist, and fingers...

Not bad, it works.
This wrist strengthener is compact and easy to use, making it a great addition to your home gym. However, it's important to note that it can be a bit uncomfortable to use, as it puts pressure on the area you're using for support. For those of us with medium-sized hands, this product may be a bit of a tight fit. Larger sized hands? Forget it. Back to use medium sized hand people... if you're looking to build up your wrist strength and don't mind a bit of potential discomfort, it's a solid option.Overall, the Sportneer Wrist Strengthener is a decent product for those looking to add some variety to their wrist workout routine.
