It's everything it claimed be. I am writing this review while grilling chicken (hot) wings. I am very pleased with this grill I have grilled everything from pork chops, hamburgers, chicken breast wings, fish and shrimp. Also made bacon (makes perfect bacon) eggs both fried and scrambled an omelet and even French toast.I put water in the tray and have never had a problem with smoke. The timer is great I can set the timer for when I expect to turn the meat. When it goes off and if I miss that it cuts the grill off avoiding burnt meat. As advertised it is very easy to clean.I do want to point out that if you plan on feeding a family of four in one sitting you will be disappointed. But for me, a widower with a teen grandson l it's perfect quick and easy to use. I am a charcoal griller this grill does not provide the charcoal grill taste but it will compete with any gas grill and weather is not a problem.

I had many of these grills, always looking for one that reaches 500 degrees and stays there, these were available in the past with regular 110V , now all "boil" the food more or less, so if you know your steaks, etc is very disappointing. If you are cooking infamous chicken or vegetables you dont notice it, even with fish like salmon trying to fast sear it and raw inside is a challenge. The grill may reach the 489 degrees advertised once turned on and reaches the temperature at witch point you are excited about how hot is is but from there will turn off / cool down to barely on until heats up again in minutes, not seconds. in this period the meat gets sort of boiled instead of sizzling cooking. Also the teflon on the grill ( side with holes) side of the pan started to come off systematically afte 2 uses and I dont use knives or sharp objects to handle the food. Still looking for a powerful grill and is is far from it. Will have to end up buying a portable gas grill as so far all purchased have been disappointing. Probably another great import from China.

Humm! Well, I am giving it five stars; however, this appliance is NOT quite smokeless no matter how much (or less) water you put in the tray under the heating elements to catch the grease from steaks or pork chops. I do like it, no question, and I admit the smoke is minimal when compared to the Hibachi grill it is advertised to replace - whether outdoor or indoor cooking. So, why give it five stars? Well, it is very easy to clean, food does not stick to the cooking surface, and the smoke, though not smokeless as advertised, it is indeed held to a minimum, which if it is handled by an over-the-stove exhaust fan, it can easily be dealt with. If you live in a winter zone that keeps you away from grilling and you are willing to put up with a bit of smoke any over-the-stove exhaust fan ought to handle easily, this appliance may be for you.

Disappointed. None of the meat I've cooked on this has tasted grilled. Was hoping to get a grill experience but I ended up going back to oven broiled. This thing doesn't cook fast, meat doesn't get crispy or slightly charred. More of a skillet effect. It's mostly easy to clean except for the fact you can't get one end wet. They should have figured out a way to dissemble for cleaning properly. Cooking isn't easy either despite simple controls, it's confusing. I disliked the lack of control and responsiveness. Fluctuates temperature so I guess it doesn't burn or start a fire. This product is sitting in the box it came in.

good things: I ordered this grill with no problems, received it within two days. It was reasonably priced. It was very well packaged.bad things: I ordered this grill!!If your are looking for a product that comes with a complete instruction manual, forget it!! This came with a small booklet, (in English language only), that just gives you the basic cleaning/safety instructions (no dishwasher use!!!), and unless you are a professional on grilling techniques (indoor or out door), you have no real guidelines on temperature/ how/ or what to cook on this machine. I searched the internet for hours on how and what to cook on this grill. Never found a single thing useful. I did not even try this grill. I immediately put it back into the orignal packaging, and will send it back tomorrow morning.

Great electric grill. It has several tempatures to choose from. It is very easy to clean, and most importantly it Cooks the food great. So far I have cooked chicken, steak, and hamburgers and hotdogs on it. Everything comes out delicious and juicy. The food is never dried out. The drip tray, is very easy to clean and it doesn't get hot around the sides like some other electric grills do. I am very pleased and happy with this purchase. I hope my Gourmia Grill last for years. You can even warm up or toast your rolls on the attached flat plate on the grill.

This has been the best purchase for an indoor grill ever! I have tried three different types including gas canister types. What makes this really work for us is that it doesn't smoke up the house and cooks very evenly. The flap top portion is awesome especially cooking veggies or kimchi with your pork belly. Definitely a must for those of you cooking Korean bbq. What makes it the ultimate purchase on top of everything else is that it is inexpensive. Basically one meal out for 3 people and you can pay for it!

I have used it one time for hamburger patties. They turned out good but spent a lot of time trying to figure out what temp I needed and how to keep it there . Heavier than other grill I have.

It took way too long to cook. In the end, I bought myself a grill pan and it got the results I actually wanted.

Not very good for steaks! ..unless you like it rare!

I travel a lot, so I got this to come along with me, very happy with it, works perfectly, easy to clean, the temperature can be adjusted, solid quality.

I don't like it. Very disappointed. Instructions not good and it just doesn't work !! I should have returned it, but now its too late.
